Safety In Schools Foundation Of Canada Description

The Safety in Schools Foundation of Canada provides online, interactive workplace safety training courses to high school students, preparing young workers with the awareness and attitude that they need to stay safe on the job.

Workers between 15 and 24 have the highest risk of getting hurt at work - up to twice that of other workers. By equipping students with knowledge about workplace risks and proper mitigation, along with a safety-positive attitude, we can significantly reduce and eliminate workplace injuries and fatalities of young workers across Alberta.
