Safeway

Wonderful staff. Very neat and tidy. Everything is easy to find and faced properly.

This grocery store is disgusting, it has gone down hill big time in the last few years.... No stars... Zero.

Make sure you check the date before you buy anything at this store. It's not uncommon to find expired milk and various other products on the shelves. Very poorly managed location.

Produce often is wilted or nonexistent, usually end up taking the extra time to travel to a saveon although this Safeway is about 1 minute from home.

This used to be such a nice Safeway, but lately when I go in there, I just feel bad for the staff.
Since Sobeys took over, the product selection has really dwindled, and most times if I'm just popping in for last minutes basics, like milk, or cheese, I leave empty-handed and just end up going somewhere else.
As the only grocery store in a neighborhood with an aging population, you would think they would make more of an effort, but it seems they've put all their eggs (literally and figuratively) in their nearby Southcentre location - which frankly isn't much better.
Honestly, the only reason I even stop here is because it's close, and I'd hate to see the longtime, friendly staff out of a job.

Small location so they are sometimes missing things I am looking for. I also find prices to be higher than other grocery stores at Safeway. This is a convenient location to stop at on your way home if you live in the community though.
