While visiting edmonton for the first time with my family, i was looking for a fine indian restaurant closer to the airport / highway. Safforn proved to be the ultimate choice. They have delicious food, five star service and a perfect ambience…would definitely come back and highly recommend to all the food lovers

We love this place so much, that we don't even mind driving down from St. Albert! The food is always delicious, and the service is quick and friendly! We highly recommend this place to everybody! (Our server was Deep the last time we were there.)

Threw my birthday dinner here once, absolutey loved it! Dinner and service was great, especially the tandoori chicken and mango lassi. The cake itself was mouth watering. I definately reccomend this restaurant, as it is my go-to spot for indian cuisine!

This place is outstanding!!! I tried goat curry for the first time and I really enjoyed it!!! Chicken korma, bhindi “okra” , tandoori naan and roti, oh my goodness!!! I wish I could rate 10 stars!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

This is the first review I have ever written but I was compelled to do so after the amazing food and customer service. We came ten minutes before closing after swimming with the kids and we were greeted kindly to come in and eat. The waiter who I'm assuming was the son had an awesome personality and took care of us very well. The food was so good and fresh even at the time we came. The restaurant is smaller but has a nice ambience.



After we finished eating two people came from the kitchen and asked us how our meal was. Never rushed us once to leave even when my boyfriend asked for dessert at 10:10 pm.. They closed at 9:30. I will definitely come back.

The best restaurant in Edmonton, period. I go back every Saturday and the friendly staff almost make it feel like I work there! The food is mouthwatering and the service is almost so fast it's like they want you to leave :) but all jokes aside, if you haven't been to Saffron, you're missing out.

Their food makes you want to go back, again and again... A terrific selection of entrees, and the most patient servers. Makes you feel as if you're at home. They have the best mango lassi in all of Edmonton. Definitely my go to place for a night out with friends!

Professional, prompt service, delicious food and reasonably priced for the portions. We'll be back!

My husband and I dined here a while back and we have been raving about it ever since �. Went for dinner on a Monday night, with our two kids. Everyone loved it, although a couple of dishes a bit spicier than the kids prefer. Had samosas and fish pakora as starters. Then we deliberately over-ordered, knowing we would take extras home. Aloo gobi, channa masala, butter chicken and chicken vindaloo all among the very best we have ever eaten. Meat portions were not huge, but the vegetarian dishes more than made up for that. Even the naan bread was fabulous - super fresh and light. Service was fantastic. Exemplary in every respect!

I was visiting from Calgary and was craving some Indian food on my way from the airport, so luckily enough I stumbled upon Saffron and was absolutely blown away by the food quality, service and how much it reminded me of home style food. A must try from me!

I have had various dishes from Saffron and I'm incredibly impressed by the freshness and flavour of dishes. You can request the amount of spice that you like they are very accommodating. The food was excellent and now I have their dishes at least twice a week. I'm excited to try all the dishes they have on the menu. Good job

I have eaten at Saffron several times now. I believe this is the freshest tasting food in Edmonton. The restaurant is clean and has a nice ambiance. The price is reasonable considering the quality and taste. The service is friendly and food looks as good as it tastes.

Celebrated our sons 13th bday meal here, we were very happy with the service and great food, delicious naan's and chicken dishes. And a very generous gift card for our son.
