High school students in Exploring Wood Trades are excited to show off their projects after learning carpentry skills at SAIT since September! 👍
"Coming to the lab where we build an actual house is like Christmas to me. Creating 3D models on the laptop is also a dream come true. I never imagined that I could learn so much in only 4 months. The best part of it all is that I couldn’t have asked for better professors. They all made this learning process exciting." ❤️

"The concrete labs have always been a favourite of mine because you get to test out the theories learned in class. In my favourite lab session we batch concrete and design our concrete mix as if we're building a bridge pier. We test our design's strength by compressing it and seeing how much pressure it could take before it gives."

"I really like the vibe on campus. Everyone feels more accepting, and I like the smaller classes and getting to know your instructor as more than 'professor' or 'Dr. so and so.' You feel more valued than just being another number that passes through the classes and I think it really makes a difference in the quality of education."
