We eat Sunday breakfast there every month or so and often have a drink there on Tuesday nights after riding. The food has been good and reasonably priced. The staff has always been good and the vibe is a friendly neighborhood bar.

Truly a community minded operation. People use it as a neighborhood pub, in reality is a licenced family resturant. Does a free turkey dinner at Easter and Christmas come one come all. Great food great service.

Today we went to Sammy's Chophouse for the first time. Our server (Tasha) was amazing!! She was very informative, nice and funny. The food was very good. When we walked in I saw another customers food & decided that was what I was going to eat today. It was the daily special (grilled rueben with fried pickles & ff). I was very pleased. Since it was my friend (Karen) birthday, Tasha went over & above and made us all feel at home. I will definitely tell all my friends about Sammy's Chophouse! !!!

Not the fanciest place in Calgary but the waitresses are awesome. Everyone treats you like family once you go only a few times. Breakfast for $1.79 and 9oz steal sandwich for $4.79!?!?! I've never had a bad meal here. The French onion soup is amazing and their pizzas are awesome and half price on Sundays when they are already super cheap!

Have moved to lethbridge in last year but every time I come back to calgary we go to sammies. Staff has been there for years and greetings are always friendly.

My wife and I love this place. We have a large pool of friends who regularly go as well so it's never hard to find someone to join us. The food is great and yes, so are the prices. We regularly do pizza Sunday and I often do the burger, wings and beer special. The service is generally good but occasionally it's just too busy for the staff to keep up. I just accept it and keep going. Love you guys!

I was here last night with my kids for hang time. Our table ordered 2 platters and I had the chicken caesar salad. A big thanks to Vicky and James for the great food. Still like coming here even tho I don't work here anymore as always feel welcomed and the food and drinks are affordable. Thanks Sammy's!�

I really enjoyed this hole in the wall type local pub. First thing I noticed NO VLT's woohoo great no loud bells and whistles to bug me. This being my first time here I had to admit I came for the Christmas dinner, being alone this was my only chance at one and trust me it was great. I cannot wait for me to test out some of the other items on the menu, all of which are really decently priced. As for the staff over all I would say that 3/4's were good at what they do with the rest just needing some time to fit in (she was training so its not fair for me to give her a review). Overall great experience will go back.

I didn't like this place after getting food poisoning 3 different times from 3 different platters. One from the nachos, one from the BLT sandwich and one from the dry ribs. Probably serves old fucking food. No longer a fan of this place. Sorry. Watch out for what you order there. Karaoke night is fun but the food isn't the greatest.

I witnessed a disabled person be assaulted there and the staff kicked out the attacker and her bf. The next day the bf came in and had been given an 80.00 tab from the owner for the staff troubling him the night before. I have never gone back and won't.
