Save-On-Foods

Nice new store. Well laid out with good selection. Only negative side is the Tesco (British) section that was hyped so much was very poorly stocked with around half of the items missing. Hopefully this will improve in the future.

Second chance. Foolish. Decided to order again. Booked 5pm to 7pm.i call at 7:05.they go check and find three other orders also still in the dock for 5-7 (sorry also for whoever those others are). The guy in charge of the delivery area says he doesn't know what to do, but will talk to manager and tells me that I should call him later on and he will tell me what the manager said. Seriously? Done with save on foods.

Update: I get a call back from customer service "sorry, for the unforeseen incident that we can not deliver your groceries at all today. We will comp you the delivery fee and deliver them tomorrow, what time works for you." will be interesting to see if they arrive on time, or at all today.

A decent variety of produce, quality meat, ocean-wise seafood, ready-to-go meals as well as nightly featured meals. The Pharmacists are knowledgeable as well as helpful, and the cashiers are friendly and efficient. Save-On-Foods offers grocery pick up or shop through the app and choose to have it delivered directly to you for a reasonable price.

Pro: when they have a sale it can be pretty amazing and compares with some larger companies. The deli carries some great food and I find the seasonal items to be a great addition. I have found gifts all year round for family and friends. Its great for a missing one item and done kind of store.

Cons: check the produce carefully. Twice while I've seen produce stackers I've had to point out they have left rotten produce on the shelf. In one case it was rather visible at a distance and a tell tale smell was easily picked up walking by. For a place considered more expensive they really need to train staff properly.

I was there today and wanted to quickly grab milk and go through self scan but their was no person( cashier) on self scan and their machine got stuck in middle of my check out and I went to ask customer service lady , she came and fixed and ran back to her station and this machine got stuck again and I had to wait 10 mins for somebody to come and help me. Honestly what's the use of self scan if they can't have people to handle it. And it's not that only I was waiting , everybody on self scan was looking around to get help. Moreover their cashiers don't even smile, horrible customer service.

Good prices, great service. They price match, works out great with the flipp app, don't have to run around. They usually have comparable prices anyway. Used to love their in store pizza, until they changed it and now little Caesar's is better...

I have been to Save-On-Foods multiple times and overall my experience was amazing. Sometimes they have amazing deals on chips and other foods around the store. Everything is well organized and I had no trouble finding items. The meat itself is high quality and most of the time Save-On-Foods reduces the price of meats. What was also very welcoming was its free fruits stand where I would sometimes find free oranges and bananas.

I was in Save-On-Foods the other day needing a fruit basket and two bouquets of flowers, well let me tell you Kari in the floral department went over and above on the service.

I couldn't believe how beautiful the flower arrangements were. They were put together so well and wrapped to perfection with a smile.

I highly recommend letting Kari at Save-On-Foods floral department look after any event that requires flower arrangements, believe me you will not be disappointed.

Poor custormer service over the phone. I called to ask something in the meat department and the meat department lady who picked up literally hung up on me after "I don't know bye" in the middle of my question. My experience has been good with them until that incident. Some of them are kind and welcoming while others need attitude adjustment. Price is higher than superstore but they have good deals on meat. I like that they sell meat parts that superstore doesn't carry.

I love that when i ask someone where something is, they walk with me to the isle, find the item on the shelf and hand it to me
No pointing or saying an isle number.

This Save-On-Foods location is pretty great. They have a wide variety of pre-made meals and their produce seems to be of good quality. Love the long hours, too!

A fairly new location. Some good prices and specials (especially if you come prepared with coupons). Another grocery outlet to add to the mix when you are out looking for deals.

I love save on foods. The produce is fantastic and raw meat selection is really good! Just happy with everything here!
