The Sawmill Restaurant Group maintains membership in a number of industry related organizations, including Edmonton Tourism, Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, Alberta Restaurant & Food Association, Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs, Canadian Food & Restaurant Association and Alberta Tourism Education Council.

We strongly support culinary and apprenticeship programs in the province and are members of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Program Advisor Committee. We encourage management from our stores to work with the business associations in their respective neighbourhoods.

Ya, I went two times in one week, what of it? :D the food is great value, they always cook my beef the way I like, good selection of wines to go with, servers are so nice. Go see for yourself.

We have had great dining experiences in the restaurant but dined in the lounge last night for the Eskies game and we had the best time. Our server Madison had everyone laughing but also created a great dining experience. We spoke to the Manager Kyle and told him how much we enjoyed our experience and that we would be back. He provided exceptional customer service as well. Food was excellent, drink specials were great ($3.99!) and we felt extremely welcomed which we haven't felt at any restaurant in the Park for awhile. They talked about planning some fun events this summer and wing nights are Tues/Thurs for under $5/lb. We sampled the dill pickle ones this evening and they were delicious. We will be back soon!

We had our company Christmas party last night in your lounge. Huge thanks to Ashley, our server. She dealt with all 24 of us with professionalism and enthusiasm. She was always on top of our food and drink orders and always with a smile. You are lucky to have her as an employee!

I eat here alot...LOL, I love trying new things. Although I don't always love everything...I can appreciate other peoples loves for it.. What I am learning is how to custom order. :)

I might not be the most popular (because of custom order) but the staff doesn't ever let me know, out loud anyway.... :)

Great night and great food. It was our 1st wedding anniversary and we wanted a good restaurant and an intimate dinner. Instead we got a full bar cheering "including me and my wife" to The Oilers winning in overtime . Kudos to the staff

Every single time we go the service is fabulous and the food is outstanding it's definitely our go to place for formal dining to casual fun in the lounge - we highly recommend the sawmill Sherwood Park Cindy / Kyle and TJ treat all their customers like family looking forward to our next visit already... Sawmill Steak Sauce yummmm!

We ordered prime rib and it's just as we wanted it's the only restaurant that cooks my steak the way I like it service is very friendly and was just enough to not be too intrusive only gripe I find is the tv moniters are a little too much especially if you are wanting a intimate meal you will not get that here it's more of a casual atmosphere when you eat cos you constantly feel that you are being watched because of the moniters that are placed on every wall in the dining area maybe if the moniters where placed in one area it would be a little more appealing to more people just a suggestion

We love watching hockey in the lounge with our friends. And it's even better now with the new larger TVs in every corner. The staff are great - both Ashleys, Cindy, they always look after us well. We are happy loyal customers!!

Sawmill is one of my favourite resteraunts, and I have honestly never left disappointed until this past valentines day. I am only writing this review regarding valentines day dinner in hope that they would make changes in the future so others like myself would recommend this resteraunt for such a special occasion. The "set menu" was very disappointing. We prefer to just eat our entree as that is enough food for us and it gets wasted or we over eat and feel aweful. The set menu for this night had 3 price options. So basically you decide how much you want to spend then pick one of the 2 dishes in that price option whether that's something you wanted or not. This included a salad (2 choices to choose) to begin and desert (3 choices to choose) to finish. We gave the ceasar salad a shot since we were paying for it and had a few bites ...considering how much dressing was on it you couldn't taste any ceasar dressing. Waste. I ordered escargot with our dinner and about the 4th snail in all I could taste was sand. I tried a few others, sand... they were not cleaned properly, so an extra waste of $12 added onto our bill. Only side option available with entrees were mashed potatoes. By the time we are done, we really did not want dessert but again we are already set to pay for it so we take it to go and in our fridge it still sits...

The steak here NEVER disappoints!! I will absolutely still be back on a day when I can order whatever I want. Sawmill is still one of my fav resteraunts however would not come back for such an occasion where there is a set menu. I would not recommend coming here for valentines day.

Like it a lot but that volume on the tv system is way too high. And no I'm not a prude. I like my stuff loud but that was overkill. Also, your billing receipt has charges that don't subtotal properly. My food charge was brought down and showed up as 'food' with a totally different number and it wasn't GST charges. All my friends had the same problem on their bill. But I like the place overall.

Went for Brunch, food was excellent as usual but service was slow, sat and waited 15 minutes before our server asked us for drinks then our drinks came after we were done eating our brunch. Reason given was he was busy taking payments. However servers could be seen socializing by the beverage station and standing around. I think they need some leadership on shift to ensure service comes first.

I finally waved down another server and asked if we had a server and respondes was um yup. I eat at the sawmills and the alot and I won't go back to the park location again.

After being a long standing customer , I will be no more. If you go to the bar of an evening the food menu is the restaurant menu, so you are paying fine dinning prices in the bar!! What used to be the bar menu is now only served on the lunch menu. ( fish and chips etc) They no longer carry the cooler I drink, you used to get loyalty points on the whole bill , it is now just on food. There where six of us last week the only thing we could get to eat without paying an arm and a leg was ribs & Wings. The two stars are for the waitresses they where great.

We've been here quite a few times but the last couple times my husband and I went the food and service were both horrible. We went for my husband's birthday and our steaks were chewy and gross even though my husband ordered medium rare. I ordered medium. Mine was way over cooked. She didn't even quality check us.

Second time was today. The last straw...we went for brunch and it took 10 minutes for the hostess to seat us. She finally sat us and we sat there waiting for another 10 minutes for our server to get us drinks. Didn't even come by to fill our water glasses. We went and got our brunch sat down finished our not so good food and when we got up to leave a waitress (assuming it was ours?) Ask if we were going to get more food and we said no we left certificates and got our of there as fast as we could. We both work in the service industry and always tip even with vouchers or certificates. This was definitely an exception for us. We even considered leaving our certificates with someone in the restaurant for someone else to use and just walk out. We figured no one saw us or served us so they definitely wouldn't notice us leave. Never going back there again.....

The nachos were gross and baked until they were dry and the cheese was petrified and we had to take a fork and scrap the pan to get them free to eat. Disgusting! and we had to pay 20.00 dollars for that crap. This was at the Sherwood Park Sawmill which needs to hire better staff.

Just came from an early Mother's Day dinner - worst experience ever! Took over 2 hours! My steak, as well as my brother and sister-in-laws were cold when served, and mine was way underdone - almost medium rare when I asked for well done. The server took the steaks back, and when returned, mine was still under-done (medium well) and my brother and sister-in-laws were still cold. My brother didn't even eat his meal. The veggies were raw and cold. Ordered dessert and coffee which took another half hour to arrive - what's so hard about pouring a cup of coffee! Out of the 4 desserts ordered, 2 arrived and had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the other two. Won't be back - at least to this location.

Called ahead to see if walk in were available. Hostess didn't answer the phone in a timely manner. But informed us we could be seated immediately. So we went. Upon arriving to no surprise, hostess was not at her station. Place practically empty. Waited over 10 min before a hostess showed up. We were seated and had service right away. Ordered drinks and appetizers. He had Cesar salad and I ordered the house soup which was beef and barley and was I was served was plain tasting mush. Even with salt and paper didn't help. I sent it back. He ordered prime rib and baked potato and I ordered chicken cordon bleu with alfredo. Food was disappointing. Alfredo was dried out and the chicken. Veggies were limp and cold. Absolutely not worth the price of food. Customer service was average. Will not return. Total bill including tip $100.00

What used to be the bar menu is now only served on the lunch menu. ( fish and chips etc) They no longer carry the cooler I drink, you used to get loyalty points on the whole bill , it is now just on food. There where six of us last week the only thing we could get to eat without paying an arm and a leg was ribs & Wings. The two stars are for the waitresses they where great.

We've been here quite a few times but the last couple times my husband and I went the food and service were both horrible. We went for my husband's birthday and our steaks were chewy and gross even though my husband ordered medium rare. I ordered medium. Mine was way over cooked. She didn't even quality check us.

Second time was today. The last straw...we went for brunch and it took 10 minutes for the hostess to seat us. She finally sat us and we sat there waiting for another 10 minutes for our server to get us drinks. Didn't even come by to fill our water glasses. We went and got our brunch sat down finished our not so good food and when we got up to leave a waitress (assuming it was ours?) Ask if we were going to get more food and we said no we left certificates and got our of there as fast as we could. We both work in the service industry and always tip even with vouchers or certificates. This was definitely an exception for us. We even considered leaving our certificates with someone in the restaurant for someone else to use and just walk out. We figured no one saw us or served us so they definitely wouldn't notice us leave. Never going back there again.....

The nachos were gross and baked until they were dry and the cheese was petrified and we had to take a fork and scrap the pan to get them free to eat. Disgusting! and we had to pay 20.00 dollars for that crap. This was at the Sherwood Park Sawmill which needs to hire better staff.

Just came from an early Mother's Day dinner - worst experience ever! Took over 2 hours! My steak, as well as my brother and sister-in-laws were cold when served, and mine was way underdone - almost medium rare when I asked for well done. The server took the steaks back, and when returned, mine was still under-done (medium well) and my brother and sister-in-laws were still cold. My brother didn't even eat his meal. The veggies were raw and cold. Ordered dessert and coffee which took another half hour to arrive - what's so hard about pouring a cup of coffee! Out of the 4 desserts ordered, 2 arrived and had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the other two. Won't be back - at least to this location.

Called ahead to see if walk in were available. Hostess didn't answer the phone in a timely manner. But informed us we could be seated immediately. So we went. Upon arriving to no surprise, hostess was not at her station. Place practically empty. Waited over 10 min before a hostess showed up. We were seated and had service right away. Ordered drinks and appetizers. He had Cesar salad and I ordered the house soup which was beef and barley and was I was served was plain tasting mush. Even with salt and paper didn't help. I sent it back. He ordered prime rib and baked potato and I ordered chicken cordon bleu with alfredo. Food was disappointing. Alfredo was dried out and the chicken. Veggies were limp and cold. Absolutely not worth the price of food. Customer service was average. Will not return. Total bill including tip $100.00

Ya, I went two times in one week, what of it? :D the food is great value, they always cook my beef the way I like, good selection of wines to go with, servers are so nice. Go see for yourself.

We have had great dining experiences in the restaurant but dined in the lounge last night for the Eskies game and we had the best time. Our server Madison had everyone laughing but also created a great dining experience. We spoke to the Manager Kyle and told him how much we enjoyed our experience and that we would be back. He provided exceptional customer service as well. Food was excellent, drink specials were great ($3.99!) and we felt extremely welcomed which we haven't felt at any restaurant in the Park for awhile. They talked about planning some fun events this summer and wing nights are Tues/Thurs for under $5/lb. We sampled the dill pickle ones this evening and they were delicious. We will be back soon!

We had our company Christmas party last night in your lounge. Huge thanks to Ashley, our server. She dealt with all 24 of us with professionalism and enthusiasm. She was always on top of our food and drink orders and always with a smile. You are lucky to have her as an employee!

I eat here alot...LOL, I love trying new things. Although I don't always love everything...I can appreciate other peoples loves for it.. What I am learning is how to custom order. :)

Great night and great food. It was our 1st wedding anniversary and we wanted a good restaurant and an intimate dinner. Instead we got a full bar cheering "including me and my wife" to The Oilers winning in overtime . Kudos to the staff

Every single time we go the service is fabulous and the food is outstanding it's definitely our go to place for formal dining to casual fun in the lounge - we highly recommend the sawmill Sherwood Park Cindy / Kyle and TJ treat all their customers like family looking forward to our next visit already... We ordered prime rib and it's just as we wanted it's the only restaurant that cooks my steak the way I like it service is very friendly and was just enough to not be too intrusive only gripe I find is the tv moniters are a little too much especially if you are wanting a intimate meal you will not get that here it's more of a casual atmosphere when you eat cos you constantly feel that you are being watched because of the moniters that are placed on every wall in the dining area maybe if the moniters where placed in one area it would be a little more appealing to more people just a suggestion

We love watching hockey in the lounge with our friends. And it's even better now with the new larger TVs in every corner. The staff are great - both Ashleys, Cindy, they always look after us well. We are happy loyal customers!!

Sawmill is one of my favourite resteraunts, and I have honestly never left disappointed until this past valentines day. I am only writing this review regarding valentines day dinner in hope that they would make changes in the future so others like myself would recommend this resteraunt for such a special occasion. The "set menu" was very disappointing. We prefer to just eat our entree as that is enough food for us and it gets wasted or we over eat and feel aweful. The set menu for this night had 3 price options. So basically you decide how much you want to spend then pick one of the 2 dishes in that price option whether that's something you wanted or not. This included a salad (2 choices to choose) to begin and desert (3 choices to choose) to finish. We gave the ceasar salad a shot since we were paying for it and had a few bites ...considering how much dressing was on it you couldn't taste any ceasar dressing. Waste. I ordered escargot with our dinner and about the 4th snail in all I could taste was sand. I tried a few others, sand... they were not cleaned properly, so an extra waste of $12 added onto our bill. Only side option available with entrees were mashed potatoes. By the time we are done, we really did not want dessert but again we are already set to pay for it so we take it to go and in our fridge it still sits...

The steak here NEVER disappoints!! I will absolutely still be back on a day when I can order whatever I want. Sawmill is still one of my fav resteraunts however would not come back for such an occasion where there is a set menu. I would not recommend coming here for valentines day.

Like it a lot but that volume on the tv system is way too high. And no I'm not a prude. I like my stuff loud but that was overkill. Also, your billing receipt has charges that don't subtotal properly. My food charge was brought down and showed up as 'food' with a totally different number and it wasn't GST charges. All my friends had the same problem on their bill. But I like the place overall.

Reason given was he was busy taking payments. However servers could be seen socializing by the beverage station and standing around.
