Wow. Definitely the best food we have ever had. It was all delicious and came out perfect. We will definitely be going back. �
Went there early on a Sunday evening and we're happy to see the buffet is still available. Their website said the buffet was only until two on Sundays. It was a good surprise to see that they also had an evening buffet as well. Sure hope they put that on their website. Our waiter Josh was amazing and very attentive. They let me try the wine before I bought it which they should do, but many restaurants don't. We stayed at least three or four hours as we were catching up with friends we had not seen in a very long time. We probably didn't order for at least an hour and Josh was great with that. Will definitely go back again.
We came with a party of 9 short notice on a Saturday night! We got a table right away! We were celebrating my mother in laws birthday. We had very attentive and friendly staff. The food was delicious, service was amazing! We had a fabulous time! Everything was perfect! Will definitely be back in the near future! Thank you for making my mom’s birthday so enjoyable! It’s rare to find this high quality service nowadays!
My husband and I came out to Sawmill by chance. We had planned to go somewhere else but we were disappointed with the others menu. It was Monday night and we both had the steak and lobster special. We were both very happy with our meals. Great food and good quality. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. We will be coming back for sure �
I ordered the spaghetti and stuffed meatballs, and did not really enjoy it (too much spinach, as I'm not a spinach fan). The manager stopped by and asked us how our meal was. When I told him that I wasn't really enjoying it, he insisted on a substitute at no extra charge, even though I explained that there was nothing wrong with the food, it just wasn't to my taste. In less time than I thought possible, he, personally, brought my new meal (a prime rib he had recommended). Delicious! Whilst the Sawmills menu isn't really for a blue collar guy like myself, the service, from Noric the server to the Manager (who's name I didn't get), was absolutely stellar. If you enjoy more refined foods than I do, I couldn't recommend a better place.

As a rule, I don't normally eat at a Fine Dining place on a Monday, yet given the circumstances of my friends and myself to pick a night to celebrate a mutual friends' birthday, Monday became our only option! Even though it was more subdued than lets say a Friday or Saturday evening, the atmosphere still was pleasant enough to create the ambiance I desire. And the food.... it was simply satisfying! I love Rack of Lamb served with Demi Glace as my first choice at a high end restaurant. Disappointed, I was not!!! I had only ordered a half rack, yet when I was down to my last rib, I was full yet still was not done with the taste factor :)
Nice atmosphere, great food. But the portions were fairly small for the price. We also were forgotten about when it came to our starter buns meant to eat while waiting for your food lol instead we were given it with our food �
Meal over all was good. Service was mediocre. Had to ask for a drink refill. We had a child’s dinner ordered and weren’t asked about the dessert that accompanies it. They had issues with our E- gift card. My wife and I both order Oscar topper for our steaks- each pod the same price but she got a much smaller portion for her steak?? Won’t be rushing back soon for the price
I got to watch my family eat there meal as they forgot my order, and they finished eating I still have nothing in front of me, thank you sawmill I really enjoyed thay �
Haven't eaten at a Sawmill in years and was so looking forward to it. Our server forgot the appetitizer and when he brought out the main course we mentioned it to him. He said he didn't know why the kitchen didn't do it first but that it would be out soon. We told him we ordered it as an appetizer and that we no longer wanted it. Brought it anyway. When we said we cancelled it they said it was compliments of the house. It went uneaten as we were busy with our main course. I also asked for baked potato but got mashed. Server offered to bring me a baked but I said I would just eat what was brought. The most disappointing was the Yorkshire pudding served with the Prime Rib, hard and crusty not light and fluffy. Probably the worst Yorkies I've ever had. Unfortunately, it's also expensive so next time will choose a place we know we can count on.
Coffee/Tea not included in the buffet price and 15% gratuity added on to the bill in addition to my two coffee charges.
Food is great - I just think coffee or tea could be included in the price and let us decide how much to tip at a buffet where we serve ourselves.
Why did you change your steak sauce. As a long time buyer of the sauce, you need to bring the original recipe back. The new recipe tastes absolutely terrible. You are going to lose alot of business because of this change.
Went there on a Saturday at 6pm. Restaurant was completely dead, waited 10 minutes for a hostess, numerous employees walked by and no one acknowledged us so we left. ����
We went to have lobster last night as the first couple restaurants we went too were packed full. We figured we would try sawmill out even after having a bad experience before . When we first sat down we waited at least 5 minutes before any server would pay attention to us when there were 3 clearly standing right by us and seen us. We got the surf and turf for 2 and got 2 lobster tails instead of steak and lobster. However the food took at least 45 minutes to get to us and others who came in after us were eating way before us and had similar meals. Our server was ignoring us because I believe she forgot to place our order. Once we received our food the lobster was super chewy in spots and super mushy in others as if it was cooked in a hurry. I eat lobster all the time and never do I not eat it all but last night I couldn't stomach it all. Super disappointed with service and food. For $150 it was not worth it. This is the second bad experience we have had at the sawmill and we will not go back.
Such a bad welcome to begin with from the server, very pushy in ordering. Did not explain any specials or anything. Steak was so not cooked to the medium level.. we had to send it twice back to the kitchen so that we can eat it. There was no concession to that our sides were getting cold and the steak came. Hated everything about the restaurant. The lady who came after was trying to teach us about what steak type we should order., as if it’s our first time coming to it. On top we were charged 18% gratuity which was fine if we got the service as well.
