Those of you who were familiar with the #Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Fort McMurray will notice the spirit of that once iconic property still present. What better way to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, than a Pow-Wow followed by an assortment of live performances, interactive activities, a artisan marketplace and of course some local bites at the Edmonton's Indigenous Peoples Festival taking place at Victoria Park. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Edmonton’s Indigenous cultures: learn how to make bannock, meet local Indigenous artists, and enjoy the free concerts all afternoon and into... the evening.

We discovered the Sawridge about a year ago. Now when traveling to Edmonton for Larry's medical issues - we don't think twice - we really like the Sawridge. The staff go above and beyond to make our stay the best. The breakfast buffet, which is included , is great. The prices in the restaurant are a bit pricy, but when we do eat there, the food is really good. Love the decor, the little art gallery with Aboriginal Art, the Mother Earth Essentials that are provided. The medical rate is excellent. We have no complaints. This past week, we were feeling overwhelmed with the excellent breakfast crew - who remembered us right away and directed to the booth that works best for Larry, and for their caring ways. You guys are so awesome. Love the little texts that are sent. Look forward to our next stay.
The rooms were clean. The bath products from Mother Earth Essentials are wonderful. The restaurant food was delicious. The best part of this hotel is the staff. They have provided the best service I've had at a hotel in years. Amazing front desk clerk went above and beyond. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. I will be recommending to everyone. Thank you Sawridge.....my son and I are thankful.
My family an i are Regulator customers there its our favourite place to relax n calm down after a busy day.. its a good place to sleep very comfortable rooms
My daughter and I love the environment at Sawridge we try staying here every chance we get. Great customer service, love having the Dream Catcher hanging above. Great rooms, very comfortable. You can always look forward to an amazing continental breakfast
Lawrence Maygard And me slept here sent Thursday September first on my birthday.We left there at 10:30am.After we ate breakfast.We will .come back for 3rd time est..I like the hotel Becouse you aĺlow our cat and dog.We enjoyed ourselves. I'm Denise Maygard who has the idea be there .
I went for brunch which was quite fantastic with my family and worth the price. The food was very good, egg cups had dried a little on top but still yummy. The Sawridge doughnuts were to die for and the service was friendly, prompt and helpful. I would recommend to anyone. Our table was quite dark but it's a beautiful atmosphere and a very nice hotel.
Great beds, love the provided toiletries, restaurant is fabulous and the free full breakfast is outstanding. Love this place!

The steak was amazing! The Old Fashioned rivalled the best I’ve ever had. The staff were terrific. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the board room was not up to the same quality as the rest of the hotel.
Definitely will stay here again. Highly recommend it!
I have stayed at the Sawridge twice with my dog. They have accommodated early check in requests. Room is clean and comfortable. I have not eaten there.

The staff are unbelievably friendly, the food is second to none and our usual waiter Ray, is very friendly and funny. Great time as usual
Room was great. However the hotel is right next to train tracks and every 30min a train went by and shook my room. This made for an unpleasant nights sleep
I arrived late on a Friday night. Rooms were decent. Unfortunately, my stay was soured because of a clerical error. I was locked out of my room, harried and harassed because no-one took a credit card from me on arrival. Made to feel like a criminal because of this. Food is expensive and not worth the cost. All in all, not great. I won't be coming back.
Very poor entrance and exit, parking lot sucks, who would put a rail for plugging your vehicle into a foot and half off the ground, could not see it backing into parking stall, now I need a new bumper �
Ordered room service and received a cheesecake covered in black mould (have pictures). Only offered 50% off food bill and my bf is currently in the bathroom trying not to be sick. Will be filing a complaint to management in the morning but at the moment this is disgusting and completely unacceptable.
