Science Outreach - Athabasca

We are a sub-committee of the Centre for Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Athabasca University

Our group consists of members of the general public (teachers, scientists, and others) who are interested in science and think science is important.
We foster awareness and interest in science by promoting "hands-on" participation and by obtaining scientific information for the general public.

These activities include science talks, camps, traveling exhibits, bird and butterfly counts, and other events. Topics include archeology, astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology, physical geography, meteorology, and physics.
