Scotiabank

Not a big fan of the company. Moving back to my old bank after 4 months. Plus this location the staff is slow and need more people.

I have been banking with Scotia since 2015 and have had an up/down experience with them. I'd have rated them 3 stars, but my most recent advisor - Jason Berfelo - has been excellent to work with since our accounts were moved over to him.

Like any big bank, your experience will be dictated by the competency of the people you engage there. I enjoy banking with Scotia more than TD almost entirely because of my relationship with Jason. I send him an e-mail and he gets what I need done. He's easy to engage and work with, which makes it easier for me (considering my time is at a premium due to my business).

Both my business and personal banking accounts operate through Scotia. I can be ... difficult... to work with, as I am very particular about my time and money. Jason handles everything I toss at him with professionalism and courtesy.

So, if you're looking for a new banker, ask for Jason. He'll take good care of you.

Never I saw such a terrible service!

Change policies out of no where and now has put me in a bad situation. Changing banks asap. Customer service is terrible and they don't care.

I heard some woman talking on her cell phone when she went out for a cigarette about how she plans to go on disability again before they plan on letting her go. She was saying horrible things fairly loud. Not a great stop. I think I'll go to a different branch for a while.

Ive never made an appointment at this branch for financial help yet everytime i go someone makes the time for me.

Today i had the pleasure of being served by Soni. She was amazing! I was looking for a solution for financing my post secondary schooling and she found one that blew everything i had hoped for out of the water. Communicating with Soni was like chatting with a friend, there was no BS. I left feeling confident and better educated about my financial future.
