Scotia bank in general, beginning with their phone messaging is horrible. Using Western union to transfer money to the U.S. requires a phone number which lacks a space to put it. This problem is over a year old and they admit they are aware of it. Customer service is totally unprofessional. I call, leave a message for the bank manager, she emails me back 5 minutes before they close--three days in a row. The worst bank I've ever had to deal with.

I was there to talk to one of their mortgage specialists. We spent one hour talking about their mortgage products. I had some questions about some details, and he was not sure about the answers. I asked him to call / email me, and clarify those details. I was told that I will hear back from them in a day or two. I never heard back from them. I followed up, and again didn't hear back. They are very unprofessional.

NEVER GO TO THIS BRANCH. I asked for an official STAMP for my bank statement that I printed at home and they can verify my information if they have to. But no, the teller couldn't even understand what the request was and made me pay to produce the exact same information that I printed. wow what a ripoff.

This branch clearly DOES NOT know what they are supposed to do! I sent a cheque for certification for Paula at the branch to advise that as the account was not held at that branch, she could not certify a cheque! You have to be kidding me! It is a cheque written on a Scotiabank bank account- EVERY SCOTIABANK has access to the accounts regardless of its location!!! IDIIOTS!! Don't leave your money or any investments there!!!!
