I attended the Bryan Adams concert last night, it was amazing. I was sitting in section 211. Unfortunately I must have left my phone on my seat after the show, and I wasn't sure if I was going to see it again.

Chris Spirit from the customer service team found my phone, and I was able to get it picked up! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for his good hearted and professional nature, Please send my thanks to Chris, his actions really saved the day!!

Thank you!!

It would be a 4-5 star rating if I didn't miss 3/4 of the 2nd period of hockey because I had to wait to go through the metal detectors AGAIN after a smoke. It took 25 minutes to get back into the building whereas it used to take 5 minutes! A suggestion? If you must have smokers go through the metal detectors again? Have 6 detectors per smoking area to go through, not 1 or 2!

Concession stands only take cash now? A “cash only” sign would be good! Cost me $13 for a beer with the $3 ATM on top of the $10 beer. I guess hockey games and concerts aren’t meant for the middle class anymore. Boo!

The building is old and out dated, the seats are terrible! It was 30 degrees inside and very uncomfortable! you can't have a bottle of pop (that's $4.50) beer is $9) but they will poor it in a cup with no cup holders in the seats so for paying 300 dollars for 2 seats you would think it would be a better venue! The concert was a amazing the venue was shit!

I went to the Garth Brooks Concert (September 9) with my brother, who is in a wheelchair and the set up is awful. Once the people in front of us, even two seats in front of us stood up we were unable to see anything. I stood and could see a little better, but for obvious reasons my brother could not, so he got the lovely view of peoples backs. The other issue is the seating, just because someone is in a wheelchair does not mean they don't want to come with friends and family to an event and it is very likely the person coming with them would also like to enjoy the show so having the option to sit with more then one companion would be a nice option to have and more room for said companion to sit and be able to see the concert.. I was basically siting on my brother because there was so little room. Also the pricing of all your food is outrageous! The only reason this is getting 2 stars instead of one is because of the staff that was there and manning the doors as they were very nice and helpful with getting myself and my brother through security.

we went yesterday to see Sharks/Flames game and i thought this building is so old, dirty and not safe. It was good to see tons of security and police meaning Calgary is not safe heaven anymore,

Also the hockey spirit was there and staff so friendly and nice.

However, in case of roof collapsing or any other incident in this obsolete building there is no way to evacuate people

it takes forever to navigate through, in and out of this building.

i am seriously committing this was my last time going to the Sadlledome and urging people against going there especially with their families/kids...

Worst service ever at Kevin Hart. Ran out of food, lines taking forever , poor service. Your non hockey events are important as well, should be staffed and food prepared accordingly.

Were up in the press level tonight. Watched a man get shoved down the stairs as he was leaving, and he fell. The guy who did it pretended he didn’t do it. The guy beside us yelled that we all saw he did it, only yelled at the “perpetrator” in particular, and it wasn’t even profane - yet that was enough for a high and mighty security officer to kick him out. Maybe the security officer should have been more focused on the event that had happened, which was someone shoving someone else down steep, cement stairs where they actually could have been injured, as compared to focusing on the guy who just called out the guy who had pushed him.

Was there last night for the sharks vs flames game, thought it was odd that your staff doesn't allow standing against the glass during warm-ups. But my main issue was upon leaving our seats (wearing sharks jerseys) after the game a Flames fan grabbed me by the back of the neck and put his face in mine with the hopes of instigating a fight. This happened in full view of two of your security personal who did nothing about it.

It seems to me that it would be in the best interests of the saddledome, if out of town visitors wanted to come back... 1 star since I am not able to give 0

This evening I attended the Ellen show with my daughter and 2 of her friends, one of whom happens to be in a wheelchair. We experienced the worst “customer service” I have ever been subject to. It seems a stretch to even suggest it was anything of the sort.

1. Shailynn purchased 2 wheelchair tickets and one ‘attendant’ ticket for the three of us. She is the only one who is in a wheelchair, however previous experience has taught her that it is just easier to purchase an additional wheelchair ticket for ease of access and space.

2. Shailynn was unable to print the tickets off of the website like those who purchase “regular” tickets are. So today she and my daughter went to pick the tickets up from the box office but not ONE of your wheelchair accessible entrances was open.

3. We returned at 5 pm to pick up the tickets and were told the tickets had been “voided.” The charge remained on Shailynn’s credit card . She had the receipt - and after about 15 minutes we were given 2 of the 3 tickets purchased - and no money was refunded for the third ticket that was never received.

4. Then we tried to find the seats. We talked to 4-5 people (attendants/ushers). NONE of whom could tell us where our seats were. We did three laps of the concourse and each time were sent in a different direction. We dealt with an attendant named Deborah who went out of her way to be rude.

5. At this point my daughter and I took the two extra tickets we had won from Cowboy’s and went to those seats. We did not get to sit with Shailynn. Shailynn was eventually taken back down to the box office where our evening began and where were told we could not access the upper levels and put in an elevator and taken to her seat.

With the exception of the person who finally got Shailynn to her seat, not a single employee knew anything about the accessibility of the building or made an effort to be even remotely decent, helpful, or respectful.

It was disgusting, frustrating, and shameful.

One final shout out to a food services manager who listened to my daughter and I and seemed to understand we were not being treated well.

Something needs to be done with this sad excuse of an arena. Recently went to the Alabama concert. Previously been to many Stampede concerts and all of them had horrible sound quality. I feel like the performers don't even have a fair shot in giving a good performance because of the lack of quality in the stadium. It's sad. The food is too expensive for what you get and the drinks are hard to find if you aren't a beer drinker. I think we are overdue for an upgrade.

User

Show was amazing, the security on the floor couldn't have been bigger jerks. They were harassing people constantly that did not have their phones out, were not smoking anything, were just dancing and having a good time. They would shove flashlights in people's faces and say "I'm watching you!" when people weren't doing a thing. One couple even had a 5 year old with them and they harassed them too. It really ruined the fun mood of the evening. Get better security that aren't on a power trip.

User

Section 108 row 7 seats 15-17 are horrible seats, especially for kids. Thanks for making my kids birthday terrible for your advertising

Not impressed with the way this place seems to be "progressing".

If anything is regressing.

And they want tax payers to pay for a new stadium ? Get your act together guys. No wonder people aren't happy.

New no reentry bullshit!

Never again will I go with the new DISRESPECFULL removal of smoking areas!

Screw you rip off central with allowing drunks but not even letting medicinal cannabis users have a spot!

If I could post a zero star review I would. My family who drive all the way out from BC for a Calgary Flames game the long weekend witnessed a security guard push someone down the cement stairs with not even a few minutes left in the rest of the game. A HORRENDOUS display of a lack of care by the staff involved - and to top it off the same security guard kicked out a guest who called him out on the act. AWFUL.

User

If I could give this place no stars I would!!!

This place is a sad excuse for a NHL or concert venue. A friend of mine were there back in September for the Garth Brooks concert. Half way through we were physically assaulted and humiliated by the asshat security staff, who accused us of breaking something. We were detained and tossed around like criminals. My personal property was stolen and never returned even after going back the next day.We were never offered an apology or compensation for my belongings that were not returned to me. Then they had the audacity to email my friend asking for the money for the property damage! When I returned the next day for my belongings I had the security guard walk me through everywhere we were that night and there was nothing broken! what a joke!!!

Then new years eve my family and I decided to go to the new years eve flames game. We were up in the press level where the stairs are narrow and steep. My sister and I decided to go down to use the restroom and we both fell down the stairs, They were soaking wet with beer! I fell not once but twice! We went down and told the usher what happened, meanwhile at least 4 other people fell down the stairs. No one offered me a place to sit, even seeing that I'm obviously injured. The medics came, and wrote my info on her glove (how professional). Everything was handled very poorly. It is now the 9th of January and I am still recovering from my severe injuries. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS HELL HOLE AGAIN!!!!!

User

I was at game last night and some guy started yelling at my 17 year old son and his girlfriend. My son's girlfriend had injured her leg and when he walked away he kicked her leg. Cops have already been notified and the security at game were useless. Security were actually threatening to kick us out, what a joke, asif me and my kids did anything wrong. I had my 4 year old daughter, this 40+ man was feeling tough yelling at little kids. This man will be charged for kicking a minor girl and his trouble maker gf was hiding in the closet by bathroom after she instigated the whole thing.

User

I can't believe the NAZI security there. I seen so many people get kicked out from the show for just stepping out past the line of seats ... everyone was just trying to see the concert they paid for !!! I will never watch another concert there again.

User

New no reentry bullshit!

Never again will I go with the new DISRESPECFULL removal of smoking areas!

Screw you rip off central with allowing drunks but not even letting medicinal cannabis users have a spot!

If I could post a zero star review I would. My family who drive all the way out from BC for a Calgary Flames game the long weekend witnessed a security guard push someone down the cement stairs with not even a few minutes left in the rest of the game. A HORRENDOUS display of a lack of care by the staff involved - and to top it off the same security guard kicked out a guest who called him out on the act. AWFUL.
