No wonder they are going out of business, extremely overpriced items and rude staff. Will not help you load anything into your vehicle, even though they wheel it out for you. Usually it wouldn't be a problem but it's really annoying as a woman who purchased a large, heavy item and was made to very awkwardly struggle to move it into my car by myself while the sales associate stood there and watched. When I asked why they do that, I got a line about liability....ok....

Horrible customer service. The stores closing and the have massive sales however there were severely damaged items on the floor. When I questioned the manager about a fridge I wanted to purchase with broken power cord prongs, she was short and rude and questioned why I would even want to buy something that was broken. And that maybe someone who knew how to fix it could buy it.RUDE!!

Just went in to look for some bedroom furniture and the first person we tried to ask for assistance ignored us to talk to his coworker. A couple minutes later we found an item we liked but there wasn't a price so we managed to (after waiting several minutes for her to free up) get a woman to look it up for us. She typed the sku in and immediately started walking away, leaving us alone at the computer. Then she called over her shoulder "oh and it's 25% off". What a joke! Even said "uh actually we had another question" and she just kept walking away. Worst service around.

Not that great of a sale. Appliance still a better deal at home depot.

Prices suck and the selection sucks but at least with the layoffs there are no sales people hounding you all the time anymore.

WORST RETAILER I'VE DEALT WITH AND I HOPE THAT NO ONE EVER GIVES THEIR BUSINESS TO SEARS.
It all started with receiving a bed which was damaged by the delivery team, then waiting for 2 weeks for furniture medics team that never showed up followed by 15+ calls to customer service and to the retail store to get a refund on my order. Its been nearly 2 months and i still haven't received my refund. I read through some of the previous reviews and it seems like I'm not the only one who has had this issue - definitely not an easy process to get your money back from this company. The corporate customer service team (seems like Philippines based) including some of the supervisors are not willing to corporate on the issue or confidently give you incorrect information.
Clearly the management has not taken any steps to address their broken processes and quite evident that customer experience doesn't matter to Sears Canada. Shares of Sears Canada are on a decline for this reason and if they don't spend time to redefine their strategy around customer experience/satisfaction, I'm sure they'll continue to lose lot more business.

Had issues with not being notified about delivery and not receiving calls back or getting clear answers. After persistence eventually found a sales rep to help me and return call.

My wife and I went to the store to buy a refrigerator David was our sales representative, there was a small problem with the with the description of the product which I never noticed until I got home. I immediately called David at the store and he got the problem handled immediately and called me back to insure me the issue was resolved. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone wanting home furnishings or appliances. Thanks again DAVID for your service.
