Second Cup

Adding a star to my former review - since the renos the owner seems to be around more and service (in the morning at least) has improved. Haven't been brave enough to see if they've fixed the flavor-contaminated carafes though.

Good coffee,free WiFi .Nice staff and environment. Love the renovated look.

Came here alot prior to the renovation as they had fast and efficient service, great customer service & a nice flow of people coming thru. Renovations are absolutely beautiful & is very clean, but I feel the vibe has gone downhill a lot. There is rarely any music playing, so you can only hear staff cleaning or others talking. Service is not as prompt and efficient as it used to be. Was slightly disappointed after they reopened as I really enjoyed coming here to have a coffee and to sit and work.

Wanted a quiet cool place with great coffee and really like their newly renovated cafe. Always enjoyable spot.

There are way better coffee shops nearby, not to mention Second Cup has really just become the crappy Canadian version of Starbucks. They need to step up their game.

After renos, looks amazing. Attentive and cheerful staff. Drinks are always excellent as well as love the snack selection. Love the new place!

Wasn't expecting what I got. The place was dirty and the order took longer than what I imagined it would take, asked for a Frocho without whipped cream and fudge on it, had to wait for almost 15 minutes to get it and it came without the fudge so they had to take it back and add it. The lemon loave was dry and hard, as if old. The sausage roll was delicious though. The coconut cream wasn't like what it usually is in other locations, kinda watery. The staff itself wasn't bad, they were kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible.

Quiet. good place to do work in there with laptop. Good barista. Well made most of drinks.

Nice new decor but miss the privacy tables and big chairs, alot less seating. Love the windows and modern feel.
