Second Cup

This place is a hit and miss depending on who you get. Some staff are really nice and friendly, others can be mediocre, even avoiding eye contact with you. Unfortunately flavors are not consistent either. I find their sleeves are too thin and hot drinks are too hot to hold with your hands.

Awesome staff, and drinks

This location is very hit and miss for me. The girls are always very friendly, but they lack the consistency of other large name cafes. Most times my beverages are good, but every once in a while it is too strong/sweet.
The large homeless population outside can be daunting sometimes. But there is always security inside the building watching out the doors thanks to the downtown library, si it's relatively safe.
Good place to get coffee if you're in the library for some study time or to bring the kids for a play date.
