Good morning Slave Lake! Today at Second Helping we are offering Vegetarian Sweet Potato Coconut Soup for lunch and then for the "I Need A Break" Friday dinner special we are making Sloppy Joe's on homemade buns. Isn't that the perfect meal before standing outside to watch the parade tonight? Soup will be ready by 11 and dinner by 4.

In the spirit of the holidays Second Helping has made various dog treats using healthy dog-friendly ingredients. All have been tested by our dogs Eryn and Tegan and have been given 2 paws up. 50% of all proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to Slave Lake Animal Rescue.

Just cooling down a big batch of Beef Chili and another of Baked Beans and Sausage. They will be packaged and ready to go this afternoon if you are looking for something yummy for dinner tonight.

Today at Second Helping we are preparing Farmer's Cabbage Soup and Pesto Pasta Salad. Soup will be ready by 11. Was stuck with no idea for supper tonight. Stopped in and picked up a pizza noodle casserole. It was a hit with the whole family! Great service and delicious food!

Stopped by on the hunt for something for supper that night... pasta meat sauce was fantastic and enough for my fam of 5 with leftovers. Allyson was super helpful and friendly. Looking forward to what is yet to come with this great little business.

So far all I have tasted was half a jar of pickled carrots...yes, I ate half the jar before I was able to put it in the fridge. They were amazing! Can't wait to try more delicious goodies from Second Helping!

Service is excellent as well as the vegetarian options I purchased to try. Delicious Allison cant wait to come get more!

I came by the store to take a look and walked out with 2 meals - Sweet n Sour Ribs, Pizza Casserole - breakfast for the next morning, and dessert which was cookies!!

Amazing service, delicious food, and one happy customer!!
