I highly recommend Dr. Al- Ghoul's office Seema eye
care center to everyone. When you get in to the
clinic, you will be amazed by outstanding
environment, advanced equipments… But the most
important thing is that there are amazing friendly,
respectful professional staffs here, including all
receptionists and technicians who work with
empathy, Co- operation manners. Sue is one of
them. I called clinic last week, she tried very hard
finding a spot to let my dad in to see Dr. Al- Ghoul,
because it is a busy clinic, and couldn't find any time
soon within two months, so she added one spot
allowing my dad to see Dr. Al- Ghoul today. She
warmed my heart and released my worries.
Special thanks for Dr. Al- Ghoul, he is the best
ophthalmologist specializing in Corneal and Cataract
surgery. He is very approachable and knowledgeable
with excellent surgical skills (I observed him to
perform surgery before). Seema eye care center is a
truly wonderful place to come for your eyes need.

I have severe condition on my vision and had been treated during 6 months.
Thanks to the professional team i am able to see and able to keep my normal life. Personal is great, friendly & capable starting with the receptionists and the Doctors Specifically Dr Lekhi and Jarlyn one of the technicians. Careful with the parking time payment…don’t get a ticket!!

I would highly recommend Dr Al-Ghoul and the team at Seema Eye Center. I did not experience any long waiting times on my many visits to prepare for cataract surgery.

When I returned home, after one visit, I was unsure I was recalling the correct information regarding my cataract surgery options. One phone call and they answered all my questions. They reviewed everything very precisely so I was certain I was making the correct decision.

The day of surgery I was nervous. Crazy as it sounds, more nervous about being claustrophobic under the sterile draping than the actual surgery! I told Dr Al-Ghoul about my fear and he said not to worry. When we got to the operating room, after the drape was attached around my face, he cut a hole in it, further down, so I could see to the end of the table. I only got to look out of it for a few seconds before the procedure began but it made a huge difference.
I so appreciated this small gesture which accommodated my fear.

Almost three months later, I am very pleased with my vision. It took a little time so patience is required! Now, I only need reading glasses occasionally.

If you are contemplating using Seema Eye Center I can attest you are in great hands.

Great service!. I came with my mom to do cataract surgery. The doctor was amazing and my mom had fantastic results from the surgery. Also, the outstanding service that we received from the kind and professional Naima, she helped my mom with taking the measurements and she was very patient and informative with her extensive experience. Whilst I appreciate that Seema deals with a great many patients and that inevitably for the staff, and also for those in the surgery centre, it can become a little like a conveyor belt or production line the beneficial difference that you all make to people’s lives should not be forgotten or ignored. Sight is a most precious sense and Dr. Al-Ghoul and his team, helps hundreds of people have that sense restored, and in my particular case greatly improved. It is a most valuable service and I want to let you all know that the appreciation I feel is tremendous. Dr. Al-Ghoul was able to make me feel genuine care and compassion. He provided an aura of calm in what was inevitably a most anxious situation for me. His professionalism, courtesy and indeed skill were exemplary. Whilst the speed of the operation was surprisingly, and pleasantly quick, it was very sure, and I was completely reassured by his patent competence. Recently had IPL for my severe dry eye. After the third treatment - things really starting improving. After the fourth - the burning has subsided and I'm starting to feel normal again. Big thanks to Dr. Al-Ghoul and the staff at Seema Eye Care. ~Mike

I have been using Dr. Al-Ghoul for many years. I have recently had cataracts and had my lenses replaced with multi-focal lenses. Throughout my entire time with Dr. Al-Ghoul from when he first took over my ophthalmologist's practice to the present he and his team have always provided the best care possible. I am so thankful that I ended up in the care of Dr. Al-Ghoul and his very professional experienced team.

I have had several appointments prior to my cataract surgery. Each time I was treated kindly and with great care. They are very organized and I was always seen promptly. The follow up phone calls were appreciated. Very good service and excellent results with my surgery.

I have had many consultations with other specialist in the city for my Corneal Edema when I stumbled upon Seema Eye Centre. As my condition worsened, and my vision began to fade rapidly, I wanted the best and latest procedures for my eyes, and for my condition Corneal DMEK was it. To my surprise, there was only one center in Calgary that provided such a procedure, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghoul the surgeon who performed such an advanced procedure. Throughout 2016, I have had 3 procedures with Dr. Al-Ghoul, and have experienced nothing but the best. The staff is pleasant, kind, and beyond helpful. The processes they have in place for incoming patients allows for rapid and quick turn-around times.
Although my surgeries were complex, I am happy and lucky I had zero complications. Dr. Al-Ghoul was patient and tentative, and his vast knowledge and calm attitude put me at ease even in times when I had little to no vision.
I have dealt with many ophthalmologist and corneal specialists in Calgary and internationally, and I have found the Seema Eye Centre to be the best yet! I can’t thank Dr. Al-Ghoul and the folks at Seema Eye Centre enough!
