Selfling Teen Support Foundation

Our Mission: An inclusive and safe online community focused on teen peer support and a stronger connection to youth service agencies in the community. Selfling Core Values: Accept. Empathize. Advocate. Inspire. The Selfling Teen Support Foundation is dedicated to helping teens fight social isolation, bullying, and mental health issues through the use of mobile technology. Incorporated as a Canadian not for profit organization in August, 2016, the Selfling Teen Support Foundation offers the Selfling Teen Support App as a way to use chat, messaging, and media sharing as a way to create stronger bonds between teens, their peers, and the powerful youth support agencies that work in their community. Selfling is actively pursuing partners in the community to rally around our cause of putting mobile technology and social media to work for vulnerable youth everywhere. Agencies working with teens can register on the Selfling Teen Support App in our special SPOT Society (Selfling Partners - Organizations helping Youth). The SPOT Society is a special account on the Selfling App where agencies can register and post details about their services. This is very valuable for many teens because too many already don't know who is out there and who is listening. We are also accepting letters of interest by members of the community to volunteer as Selfling Sensei: moderators on the Selfling Teen Support App. The Sensei can register with his or her own agency to moderate and speak on behalf of their agency or they can register with the Selfling Teen Support Foundation as a general moderator. We will be posting information for interested members of the community throughout the beginning of 2017.
