Went here for dinner and loved it, place had a great vibe and our server was super nice. Food and cocktails were really good as well; I recommend the mango mojito. We had the Kalbi Bites to start and I definitely recommend. I'm usually not a big meat eater but the meat had an amazing texture and flavor; it melted in your mouth. My boyfriend had the Bulgogi stew and it was very hearty and perfect for a cold winter day like this one. I had the Hiroshima Okonomiyaki it was delicious and very savory and filling. We had the Hotteok and Matcha Oreo snowball for dessert. The snowball was cool, and it's apparently the only place to get one. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. Already craving those Kalbi Bites.

This place is hands down one of the best places I’ve been to in a while. Our food was delicious; extremely hot and fresh, and the service was 10/10. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some amazing dishes and a great vibe.

This place has awesome food and a great staff. The food was full of different and delicious flavors. It was a great social dinning experience as well we tried a variety of different dishes and shared among the table. The open kitchen consent was also a cool experience providing some entertainment while you eat.

The food and service is top notch ! The staff goes above and beyond to make your experience a good one !

SEORAK is an exciting new restaurant that offers a unique atmosphere that is both vibrant and relaxed. It offers a creative take on Korean food, without sacrificing authentic, traditional flavours. Watching the chef prepare fabulous dishes at the teppan grill is fascinating and the food is SO GOOD!!! SEORAK is sure to become White Avenue's newest hotspot!

Phenomenal service! I ordered a variety of meats/seasonings and was not disappointed. The layout, highlighting the bar area, was very well thought out and certainly something to appreciate. I've been here a couple of times now, and I can honestly say Seorak does not disappoint! Food is unique, unlike anything else in Edmonton, and the drinks are perfected every single time!

I have always had a good experience at Seorak! Food is delicious and consistent, service is excellent, and atmosphere inviting and as a 90's baby, the old school hip hop Danny puts on his playlist is an added bonus for me!

I had a great time at this place. The vibe was classy, but also very chill. I had the cucumber roe (refreshing), pork-belly kimchi fried rice, and the spicy fried chicken. They all were great and satisfying. However, the best part was the desserts. Both the pancakes and the shaved ice knocked me out of the water. I was in love.



Of course, the flavour may not be as authentic as a traditional restaurant (in my opinion not spicy enough). However, I did not find it inauthentic as well. It is the right fusion that I was looking for on a night out with friend.



Additionally, for a considerably up-scale place, the prices were very reasonable. All for less than 45 dollars (including GST).



Whyte Ave is in need of these kinds of restaurant to revamp. And Seorak was excellent in that respect. I can see myself stress-munching their excellent desserts for years to come.

Great, outgoing and amazing staff! Amazing modern/cultural interior and attention to detail. Very nice atmosphere and mood, food is such an amazing and refreshing experience. Only place to go for excellent authentic Japanese & Korean fusion food with a taste of modern!

Great food guys! We dropped in for the first time tonight to grab a quick snack and a drink.. ended up ordering half of the menu. It was all yummy. Favorite was the probably the Seafood Pajeon, with the Kimchi Bombs a close second. And not only did you have Korean Rice Wine (막걸리) but they had 3 flavors of it! I've been looking for Korean rice wine for a while now in Edmonton. I'm coming back soon. ��

A genuine restaurant with attentive staff and amazing food. With various delicious food choices, Seorak is one of the highest quality restaurant to be enjoyed with friends and loved ones. Facility is clean and well managed, a great mix of unique dishes and pleasant atmosphere for all to come.

Unique restaurant on whyte ave, loved the atmosphere, the music, the food, the drinks, pretty much everything! The service and staff are very welcoming and warm! Waiting for more variety in lunch menu!

We ordered the soup and it was barely warm and quite ordinary. The shrimp with broccoli was like Edo. The popping rice was nice as long as you order the sauce on the side. The pancake had so much sauce on it that it was like eating a plate of sauce. The fried rice was acceptable however very small portion so you are better off having a bimbimbap anywhere else that is more authentic. All in all over priced and paying for the atmosphere.
