Sephora

I'm not usually a high end makeup buyer myself, but I do purchase some great items for family and friends. Staff here is always great and find what you are looking for. It's always so chaotic in here, but they still have excellent service. Bravo!

Store was clean and well staffed.
Staff when asked for things got back in a quick and timely matter and also helped order online when product was not in stock. Highly appreciate this store over chinook centres

A Too small Sephora with a strange outside layout and located in the deadest part of the mall, I wish it was in a more inviting area. Great staff. Fewer brands than other Sephoras. Service first time at cash was a bit patronizing and cold, then she apparently chilled out. My third time at the cash was super positive, with a different cashier a blondie super nice!

I have always had a positive experience at southcentre sephora the young ladies are always so nice and willing to help me

I kind of like this location as is not always busy and I have had positive experiences shopping there. They are very nice and I like to go for examples before committing PLUS who doesn't likes free samples! I like that they just let you be and if you dont need help they are not pushy and annoying alike the bay or sears.

The Cons are :

I have stopped asking questions to the people there since they dont seem to have knowledge and they always offer me the exact same brands when I ask for product recommendations. They take everything from a computer and most of them dont know much about some products in the store. For example, if i want skincare products these are the brands they ALWAYS go for Fresh, Henriksen, Lancome or Clinique.

One of the staff was very unfriendly and rude. I was just going to ask a simple question with an answer of yes or no. Since no one was approaching us after a while of looking around, I decided to ask this staff member after I see her just finish talking to another customer and walking away from her, thinking she was free. She didn't even let me finish my question and cut me off saying very rudely that she's with another client. Why don't you eat some makeup so you can be pretty inside.

I'm a VIB Rouge member and I am surprised to see these poor reviews. Sure of the location is extremely busy but every interaction I've had with this location has been positive! Sometimes they ask a more senior staffer if my question is t something they would know but i'm always treated with respect!

I like Sephora, but I won't shop at this location anymore. Almost every time I shop there, I see their staff gathering together, chatting, laughing and ignoring the customers. Sometimes they are very rude. They also have very little knowledge about the product. There was a time I was shopping at this location and I asked an employee where Sheseido makeup cotton was. She said they don't carry that brand at all, but I found there was a big section of Sheseido product there. So unprofessional. They are paid to be there. At least giving fake smile or pretend to be working!

Surprised to see the other reviews on here, perhaps they have had a staff overhaul or I just lucked out. I was greeted more or less right away, and asked if I needed help finding anything. Whilst walking around the store several girls followed up to make sure I was still doing well. I was accidentally double charged for the product I bought, and they were quick to fix it and very apologetic. Overall, a good experience. I just wish they carried a wider range of products, they didn't have the Becca product I needed which was a shame.
