it was very nice lots sports actives going on very nice place
This place is like a hidden gem in st. albert. i have experienced alot of gyms but none quite like this one. i mainly focus on the upstairs portion of the gym and the staff up there are friendly, very knowledgeable, and awesome if you ever need a hand in anything. 2 guys especially, Cj Baker and Peter Ramtuhul check these guys out if your ever thinking about increasing your cardio or going the hardest you possibly can to achieve results you want. these are 2 guys who don't mess around.
Thank you to all Servus fitness staff and especially Conrad for helping me get ready for Tough Mudder this weekend! You guys rock!
Servus is like my second home. Great place to work and Community and Members are simply Amazing!
Our family all have yearly memberships
We love it, walk the track twice a day, staff are friendly
As the saying goes walking is cheaper then the alternative
Depends on how you look at life
Laugh and world laughs with you
Love the indoor playground, and it's for free! Also enjoy the drop in classes they have for the little ones. :)
It's one of the Best facility what I found in Alberta province.. They have everything for a good and health time. Visit Servus Credit Onion with your friends, kids and family! Price for the whole day ticket like 10$ - it's nothing. The quality of the service is high, work staff so friendly.
P.S. (for administration) is it possible to add punching bag in the gym ?
It was my first visit and I was absolutely blown away by the facility. It has a pool multiple arenas and sports fields. I didn't count them all but saw lacrosse, soccer, basketball, and an ice rink. I am sure you can repurpose all the rinks depending on the season.
Have been a member since it opened. Mainly a user of the fitness centre, used to use the pool on a daily basis in my younger years. Fitness centre has adequate cardio equipment, however, you find yourself waiting your turn during peak hours due to the limited amount of weights/machines (this is partly due to the fact that Servus is the only work-out facility in St. Albert. I imagine this will change when Goodlife opens). The machines are in great condition, and they update them/maintain them frequently. Staff is very friendly as well. Facilities also have a studio gym that is great for a more secluded stretching/core session.
Great place. I love it. Great environment for children.
Great place for workouts or family events. Very enjoyable ! :)
Fantastic gym with lots of friendly people. The staff trainers that run the drop in classes are so amazing. They really make the gym top notch! Their welcoming personalities, make everyone feel comfortable, they all go above and beyond, they know your name, and take the time to connect with you. The spin class with Derick, Circuit training with Pete, and the bootcamp with Condrad, are all worth checking out. You won't be disappointed, this gym is wonderful!!
Awesome place to spend some time with great trainers available to assist you anytime you need it
Wonderful centre. I wish spruce groves was more like this!
We love coming here every summer for hockey school. The facility is absolutely amazing. My only complaint is that the heaters are too hot in the arena and you cannot go anywhere to miss the heat in the stands. In the summer they should be shut off with no public access. It's not freezing in the summer.
We come for the Gretzky hockey school for the last 3 years and each time the staff and recreational facilities are excellent. It's a little expensive for gym or pool use but s great place overall
I love the sports facilities available at Servus place. If I had one comment it would be to have Go Auto arena used more frequently, especially for lacrosse games and playoffs. It's a great arena that should be used a lot more. Many games are played in arenas with awful viewing and minimal seating while Go Auto is empty. It would be great to see St. Albert make Go Auto a more viable option for sports.
Also, St. Albert is in dire need of more ice surfaces!!
It's always to cold in the pool area but overall a fun experience for the kids!
Unreasonable policy. When our hockey team travels from out of town to this faucilty, we need to feed our team a healthy meal afterwards. We were ordered to take our slow cookers outside, forced to feed the team in the cold (we were kicked out with no just cause). This occured, after many parents and visitors supported the consessions inside the faucilty. Our 2 slower cookers were not in anyone's way. This method of feeding a team is widely used; it is safe, healthy and fast. This it the only Alberta faucilty I know of with such a cold hearted policy.
