Happy BC Midwives Day! Did you know midwives have been regulated in BC for 20 years now?

I am moving to Edmonton! I'll be continuing in the UBC Midwifery program and travelling to BC for placements but the plan is to practice in the Edmonton area after I graduate in 2020! I look forward to getting acquainted with midwifery in Alberta!

And with that, 2nd year is done! Half way to midwife! 🤗

Thank you to the lovely families of Grove Midwifery Care! I have thoroughly enjoyed walking alongside you and learning from each of your unique journeys! (Not to mention the lovely home visits and baby snuggles!) And to the midwives, thank you for investing your time and energy into this midwife-to-be! 💛

I ran into LC Ronel Dreyer last week at a birth. She helped me with my own baby and I highly recommend her to families in the Fraser Valley!

Two lovely births within 24 hours! Welcome, babies! 💛

Thank you to the nurses and patients at Burnaby hospital for helping me practice IVs today! It was a successful day. 😉
