This is one of the best places in Calgary for their donairs! My husband and I have yet to try any other dishes but next time we order from there I think we might. The meat is so tender and very tasteful. Their stuffed vine leafs are super tasteful just everything we had from them was just amazing. Good job! Keep up the great food.

They are super friendly and the food is amazing! Nobody does lamb like they do ... in fact this is only place where I enjoy lamb. The family platters are a great value and the salads are super fresh!! I'm hooked and I will go back ... oh and don't forget to try the Shwarma Poutine! I could eat that everyday!

THE place to go if u want authentic shawarma and shawarma platters, the quantity and quality of meat is amazing , the right mix of spices and the amazing garlic sauce are amongst the best i have had in calgary, keep it up guys !!

Saw the ad for the chicken shawarma poutine on Facebook and it looked insane so I headed down and actually ended up getting a large mixed beef and chicken shawarma instead and it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. To add on top of that the guy working gave my friends and I free baklava because we had liked their FB page, would strongly recommend eating here!

Poutine with beef and chicken mix is to die for. Went last night and had it, back again today to bring my pops to try it out.

Picked up the family platter I won. Its so good. My favorite part is the rice and the sauce. I highly recommend this to everyone wanting a good tasteing meal thats filling..

Our visit to Schwarma Barlow began when I turned left, instead of right.



We were going to get some canned soup from the local grocery store and make Tuna fish sandwiches…



Then we saw it, as we have many times before, the “OPEN” sign on Schwarma Barlow shining from the top of the hill, it was 6:45pm, and I hadn’t eaten all day… We had often remarked that we should try it as we drove by. My partner and I had heard of Schwarma poutine and had been intrigued, but never taken the plunge, tonight we decided to give it a try.



We walked into the restaurant, the décor and highlights and many mirrors make the space look immense, it was super clean, very inviting, smelled great.



We ordered the poutine, my partner had a beef, I asked if I could get a mix of chicken and beef… He assembled it by hand, everything was fresh. After looking at the amazing menu we decided it would be unfair of us if we just sampled the Canadianized cuisine with French fries... I ordered some Falafel, and to my surprise he went to the fridge, grabbed some homemade mix, and made them right in front of me. First time I’ve ever had them fresh. He added some spices and Hummus as a garnish. We also ordered some Samosas (beef and chicken) and some Baklava to give ourselves a nice round sampling, and belly.



We got it to go, and the car ride home was unbearable, it smelled so good.



We got home and tore into it.. err I mean, sampled it carefully… The food was amazing, by far the best Falafel I have ever had. The poutine was equally glorious and it was hard to put it down... We got a huge amount of food and went into a coma afterwards but it was entirely worth it.



If you’re in the area, and you’ve always bypassed this sign, stop, turn off, and eat here. We were both incredibly surprised and delighted at the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely be going back again and again and again and again. Kings (next door) has some real competition…

Ordered from these guys on skip the dish omg it was so good and it gets delivered to you hot and fresh right to your door.

My friend Riley told me about a really awesome Shawarma place on Barlow that I just HAD to try out. I wasn't super excited, as I thought I was not much of a Shawarma fan. I am always questioning what that hanging meat is, and a lot of Shawarma places aren't super clean.



Well, on my friend's advice, I ordered a large Beef pita. Also on his advice, I got the pickled turnips ( which sounded odd........), and the sweet sauce, along with several other toppings. I ordered three falafels, which were made fresh for me in a matter of a few minutes. Without me even asking!



The wrap was absolutely delicious. The meat is high quality and super tasty, and the ingredients are really fresh. The portions of meat and toppings are generous, too. The turnips are soooooo good! And the fresh falafels- amazing as well!!



And yes, the place was very clean. Even the bathroom was clean.





The service was super friendly as well.



This place will do well! I just wish it was closer to my house and my work!

I can't wait to go back and try the chicken skewers!

Extremely clean, super friendly staff and absolutely amazing food.

This will be my go to spot for dinner probably 3 or 4 times a week at least!

Great food and service with a smile! A good choice of menu items at reasonable prices. Probably a little cheaper than what you usually find around town. There is plenty of space to sit.

Best shawarma in town! Very friendly owner just moved here from Jordan couple years ago...you can tell the difference because of the special spices they have added that they get from back home...the place is very big and clean lots of room to sit I would definitely recommend this place!

Best chicken/ beef/ mixed schwarmas in Calgary!! Their wraps are super soft and they grill them so everything is nice and bundled! Amazing place to eat! Don't forget to top it off with some baklava !

Amazing food, amazing service! Never been satisfied with all items picked up from the same place! Would highly recommend to all my friends and family! Thank you it was delicious!
