Shawnessy Pizza & Butter Chicken House

The popadums were not fully cooked. I expected the fried popadums like most restaurants serve but these were superstore bought and put in the microwave for a min or less, the samosas were filled with oil, the butter chicken had no salt or spices even when we asked for spicy butter chicken It tasted like tomatoe soup with chicken pieces! Their veg biryani was like a fried rice! The delivery drive came to the door and tried to open the front door without even ringing the bell or knocking! Sorry I really had high hopes for this place!

One of the best pizza places around with customizable toppings and a non-advertised special that's ongoing. The Indian spices add a unique taste to their crispy crust. They're just a small kitchen so call ahead of time for your pickup or delivery.

Horrible food! Would never even think of returning! We ordered donairs, fried chicken, wedges, poutine, ceaser salad, and samosas. Ceaser salad was soggy with brown lettuce and not even edible. Fried chicken was still pink. I got two donairs he asked what I wanted on them just to go and put EVERYTHING including hot sauce on both. My son couldn't even eat his donair. Was basically a huge waste of money as a majority of the food went wasted! Don't waste your time or money!

We get pizza here often and it is always Awesome. Great value and the staff are always very friendly

Pros: Their pizza is probably one of the best in the city and the indian dishes are very good too (and reasonably priced).

Cons: No seating space only take-out and delivery available.

Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a quick bite.

Im begining to like indian food more then somali food ... this place also has the best pizza in calgary

A great pizza. Even though i had an all meat pizza, the crust was not greasy

This is the first time I've ever been upset that I had leftovers because I knew I had to eat this again. Hands down worst Indian food I've ever had. Every dish was just watered down and bland. The garlic naan was dry and had no garlic on it. The butter chicken was just a few tough pieces of chicken sitting in a watered down tomato sauce. Not worth it, go somewhere else.

Not to sure what other comments are saying.. but i drive all the way there just so i can enjoy the best Butter Chicken
