Sherlock Holmes Pub

This is a really cool pub with great beer and an old world English feel. Anyone from the UK would feel right at home!

I was in a hurry when I ate here. The service was friendly, fantastic and very accommodating of my time-crunch situation. Most importantly, the food was fantastic! I'm really glad I decided to stop in on a whim and I will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic neighbourhood pub. Comfortable, warm, friendly and casual. I love the atmosphere and vibe here.

The food was impressive! They've really stepped up to the plate even as a small chain of pubs. The mussels and prime rib special were bomb. I ordered at 10pm on a Friday and was still able to get a rarish-medium rare cut. In-house horseradish was Herculean, and delicious.

Love this place. Great little English-style pub with decent selection of beers on tap and a nice pub menu.

Good local and traveler stop in. Dave behind the bar is good people and makes you feel welcome. The steak sandwich here was better than a steak I had at steak house elsewhere.

A friend and I went there last night and it was busy but we found a seat a day the waitress got us drinks in a fairly timely fashion. After 20 minutes no one had brought us a menu or been to our table, so I found a server to ask for a menu, she pointed to the front and told me to get one myself. I got the menus and after another 20 minutes of no one coming to our table we decided to pay for our drinks and go across the street for supper. We stood at the bar to try and pay and another server yelled at us that we couldn't stand there, we finally ended up paying and leaving. We understand that it was busy, but it was no reason for the servers to be so rude. Terrible experience would not go back.

Wasn't overly impressed with my order. Got the large portion poutine, only came with enough cheese curds to cover about a half cup of fries (not nearly enough for the large portion), the gravy was a little spicy, and the fries could have been crispier. Don't think I'll be ordering from there again.

Food is wholesome and delicious, but your typical pub food! Live music every weekend and they bring in performers who really encourage engagement and entertain the whole crowd. Beer selection is fantastic (but not the largest when you look across the street at CRAFT), but the atmosphere is what keeps bringing me back. It`s warm, welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Sherlock Holmes Pub if you`re out for drinks with friends and want to have a fun time!
