I came here, as recently ditching Sephora I was in search of a new place to get my makeup, and this location is AMAZING!!! It’s huge, gorgeous, amazingly set up. They have so much selection of high end products, and even brands I’ve never seen before! The staff I dealt with were incredible and so helpful and they made amazing recommendations for my dry parched skin, and I’ve been using everything for around a week now and my makeup game is completely changed!
I’m not usually a huge Chinook mall fan because it’s so busy, but from here on out I will be coming to this location for my makeup needs. Also, take advantage of the points system!! Get emails and load things to your card because I spent 130 dollars and walked out with 14,000 points because of additional point perks!!!

The knowledgeable pharmacists have helped me on multiple occasions. They once corrected a dosage for my cat, and on another occasion helped me clarify drug interactions for my CBD oil (medicinal marijuana). This is a busy location and sometimes they get swamped, but they're always diligent and make time to help with any questions or advice.

The service is so bad for me there! I've ordered something under prescription and they were supposed to call me when it's there - never did! I phoned 2 weeks later and it was there, so I came to pick it up and the size was wrong, so I've requested to get me the right size. Another couple weeks later no phone call from them, so I've phoned. I came to pick it up and finally it's all good expect the receipt they provided wasn't with all information my insurance needed. So, my claim came back! I had to call them and ask for the new receipt with information what I've purchased and they faxed it to my insurance company. They've put the date on the receipt month and a half prior me purchasing the item (and I've specified that my insurance started couple weeks prior me picking it up), so the claim didn't go through again! Now I need to resubmit for the 3rd time the claim and I already spent so much time on the phone between this pharmacy and my insurance company and resubmitting everything and can't get them to get it right.
Very unsatisfied with this service!!! I wish there would be another place where I can get my prescription. I already have to drive from another city to do it.

Went to return an unsused fragrance product which was the incorrect one my friend wanted.
Store assistant manager in beauty refused it and claimed it had been used.
I had my reciept and packaging from day before and just wanted to exchange for a cheaper fragrance.
I did not care about the price difference which was almost 15 dollars. Now I have a product I do not want.
Will not be going back for obvious reasons.
Apparently they can take back open and used makeup products but not an unused fragrance item because they cannot resell it.
What logic is this.

Wonderful selection of products. Horrible customer service. The reason I say this is from my experience this morning. Gina the store manager in the beauty boutique refused to take a return after my partner had an allergic reaction to a product. We no longer had the receipt. But as this normally not an issue because all receipts are tied to optimum accounts. Gina began the process of printing the receipt by searching for it on the systems database. Gina unfortunately got stuck filling out one of the search fields and could not proceed due to either her lack of problem solving skills or inherent laziness. A simple call to another store for a specific code could have easily solved this. After she told us she could not print the receipt. She back tracked and said she could not give us a return even though she had the database open in front of her displaying the receipt. It quickly became clear that she did not know how to use the system. Instead blamed us for not having a receipt and told us to drive across the city to where it was purchased to get them to print it. I am confident in saying that we will not be returning

The cashier at the front (can't remember her name) with green hair was one of the nicest people I have ever encountered in a sales position. If any managers read this please look into your staff being more like her. Very fast checkout, great manners and a smile the entire time! Thanks!

i bought a foundation at the beauty section, asked sales specifically if i can return it once it has been used, the sales said yes as long as i have the receipt. Came in yesterday, another sales said once its opened, they will not accept return.
I dont know which sales is lying but i will never shop here again

let me tell you about the stuck up girls in the beauty section..
they spend more time gossiping with each other then helping customers.
i asked for help twice to find a good product that was in my price range.. neither girl cared about my budget, showed me products around $80-$100 when all i was looking for was foundation and face lotion. are you serious??

I usually visit this location in the evening after the mall has closed. All the night staff are extremely friendly. I usually shop here enough that by the end of the year I have saved enough shoppers points that i can redeem 175 bucks worth of free stuff. I would also love to mention my experience early this morning. Shoppers chinook does have a few pharmacists that are able to provide a rapid strep test for 15 bucks if you have a sore throat. I couldn't take the pain anymore and my doctors office wasn't open yet. Dominique the night pharmacist was able to do the strep test and when it came out positive was able to give me some antibiotics and send over my results to my doctor. She's extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I am so thankful for this service, it's very convenient.
