I had the most horrendous experience with Mags in the beauty department. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was trying on lipstick while I was browsing and when I asked if she worked there she said "of course I do, don't you see my name tag?!". When I said well I wasn't sure because you're trying on lipstick she replied "well yeah how do you think I sell this stuff". Unbelievable behaviour. I was planning on buying several things but will take my business somewhere else.

The store carries lots of products, so it's a good stop to browse for stuff you may need. It's very convenient that there is a Canada Post office there too. Only downside is the prices.

Man, it's a shoppers, it's totally fine.

Terrible pharmacy service and Canada Post service. Front store is ok but I would not recommend coming here for anything customer-service related. There are lots of parking.

I had a terrible experience with one of the cashiers, I wanted to return something and she behaved like she just caught a thief!

Called into the Pharmacy on Sunday July 17, 2016 at 2:47Pm.
Long story short the lady who answered was terribly rude and inconsiderate; making the whole situation much much worse than it had to be.

My girlfriend is allergic to penicillin and I'm taking it regularly as I just had my wisdom teeth removed two days before on Friday.

We'd kissed and done things that couples do and she was ready to pass out having an anxiety attack because she was worrying that she was having anaphylactic shock. Freaking out that her throat might be closing up and all of the rest.

As she is prone to excessive worrying I call up the Calgary 811 health link and ask a nurse if the penicillin that I am taking can be cross contracted in any way and they recommend that I call a pharmacy.

At this particular location the lady with a brown accent didn't appear to understand English very well. I'd explained that I take penicillin and my girlfriend is allergic. Just then she interrupted me to tell me that she was really busy and that my girlfriend was probably going to die in a very nonchalant voice that just gives me the feeling that she hates her job and her life.

I ended up calling another location where the pharmacists there told me that everything was fine so long as my girlfriend didn't take any of the pills herself. That's all we needed. Just someone in the profession to say that everything was alright because we all know my girlfriend isn't going to believe me because I don't have a pharmacy tech degree.

Personally, I think if you're busy you shouldn't answer the phone to give bad advice and if you hate your job, you should quit. It's just shoppers drug mart lady. Let someone else have your job in the pharmacy. Go somewhere else. Other places are always looking for pharmacists!
