Shovel Pass Lodge/Skyline Trail Rides Description
Come and enjoy a stay at the historic Shovel Pass lodge located at 7000ft on the Skyline Trail. We offer horse assisted hiking trip and accommodation for hikers who are doing the Skyline Trail . The lodge is perfectly located mid-way on the Skyline Trail. Open July and August.

Responsible for cooking meals, menu planning, ordering supplies ,cleaning dishes, house keeping, The lodge is located on the Skyline Trail and has a capacity of 18 guests, staying in 7 cabins. Must be able to ride horses to go in and out of camp,( the only way to get there!) and able to work long period without going out of the backcountry . This person is also responsible to welcome guests at their arrival at the lodge and help them during their stay. NO ELECTRICITY OR INTERNET on site, only propane appliances. Valid First Aid and Food safe certificates required.
We are now closed for the winter season, thank you all for a wonderful summer season. see you next July! Cooks positions for next year will be posted in January but you can send your resume if you are interested.
