Showhome Furniture (Permanently Closed)

Ruth was the sales agent that assisted in my purchase of your 9 drawer chest from the northland store. Unknown to the both of us, when I got this lovely piece of furniture delivered to my home, I noticed that there is a functional defect in one of the drawers. It is not sliding properly and is coming off the rail. I left a phone message at the store at 5:30pm yesterday and no one has called me back. I then emailed a video to customer service showing how this drawer is not sliding and coming off the rails. This was a $1500 dresser and my expectation was that it will be used on a long term basis. I got a call this morning from the customer service manager and was given 2 choices; fix it myself or they can send someone over to fix it but it would cost me $65/hour! I then called again and spoke with Ruth who sold me the dresser and she basically said there was nothing she could do about it and that I should have inspected every drawer at the store before purchasing. She said that her job is sales and that this "defected" drawer is not her responsibility and should be dealt with at customer service. When I asked about a warranty she said none existed. I am an unhappy customer in which I spent a substantial amount of money and now have problems with a product that I haven't even used yet.

I love this store so much. The selection is amazing and so current. I love buying pieces there. My only complaint is I never win their online contests! lol one day

I recently walked through the Northland location. This store has beautiful furniture! The customer service is exceptional! There are many staff members ready and willing to help through out the store, without being pushy. A great family run business!

Our experience at the store was beyond amazing!!! We went to the store for the first time ever last week while shopping to furnish our new house and we fell in love in everything. The staff is very friendly Jill, Marianne and the manager who was very helpful too. However we kept looking around but couldn't stop thinking about the pieces we loved from Showhome Furniture so we went back and the amazing Andrea was very helpful, caring and really made sure we were happy with all of our selections, showed us different options for fabrics and really took the time to offer us the best service. As she said, they will be a part of our home and we really felt that even while selecting our furniture with her help. The prices are excellent for the great quality they offer and the best is that it is a family owned business. I'm very happy with our purchase but it makes it even more exciting and special when you had an amazing experience at the store with wonderful and caring staff, thanks again Andrea for your time and dedication.

Great staff. Family owned. Quality items at good prices. Modern selection. Similar to Winners Home Sense but for furniture. Sales staff don't stalk you. Great place. Also have good selection of custom order couches etc. We ordered Elite sofa with chaise, pedestal, and chairs. Love them. Arrived sooner than expected.
