Side Street Pub & Grill

My favorite pub in Calgary. I have tried most items on the menu and everything is actually amazing! Great comfort food! Did I mention it's literally THE BEST pizza in Calgary! Every day something freaking delicious is on special and it's always actually a crazy good price. Good drink specials as well and selection. The servers are very attentive and kind. If you haven't been here, you have to go!!

Sports pub that is always busy. The owner is always there making sure everyone is good. Pool and other games.

If your not going here for food and drinks you should be ashamed. Great atmosphere, wide range of people-not to young-not to old. Pizza here is wicked awesome!

This has become the only place in Kensington I go to anymore. It's basically only the reason why I still go to work is to afford drinks and wings here which are both reasonable and incredible. The memories I've created here basically bring a tear to my eye as I remember them. The specials each night are so special. Just commit and go there instead of prohibition.

Pretty average bar, cheaper drink options than many places nearby and the food is also reasonably priced. That said it isn't the best food in the neighborhood. But if you're on a budget and don't mind the noise it's not a bad place.

Went during the daytime. One bartender on-staff and the place was mostly full of regulars. Dark and quiet. No complaints, and better beer prices than most other spots in Kensington. I've heard this place gets pretty busy during evenings.

This has been my favorite local pub since I visited for the first time over two years ago. This pub is so awesome that I was referred to it from a server at another pub in which I was enjoying a drink. The thing that stands out the most is the standard of service. On my second visit the owner knew my name and thanked me for returning, no other busy bar owner has ever made that sort of effort. This attention to client care is felt with every employee at this pub, from the servers (who are the best in Calgary) to the bartenders (who are the best in Calgary) to the food prep team (who are the best in Calgary)..... I think you get my theme on this pub. The atmosphere is so inviting that I have had work lunch meetings, team building events, birthday parties and just fun drinking days/nights here. I recommend anyone who enjoys a great atmosphere with even better service visit Sidestreet.
