Sierra Dental - Calgary Dentists

Took my 1.5 yr old in for her first 'happy' visit. Dr. Schiffner was wonderful. She was quick, friendly and very knowledgeable. I gain a lot of tips for how to care for my daughter's teeth. Best of all the visit was free.

I just recently switched to Sierra dental as they are closer to my house and have hours that work with my schedule. I have a severe nerve problem in my face which always makes the dentist unnerving. All staff members I have dealt with have been amazing at making sure I am comfortable and do their best not to trigger anything. Dr. Schiffner has also been great at addressing any concerns I may have and is extremely gentle. I would highly recommend them.

Best hygienists ever! I have super sensitive teeth and this is the one place I've found where having my teeth cleaned is gentle and doesn't make me want to run away. Kudos to their lovely hygienist staff who are kind and patient. (Lindsay especially rocks, by the way.)

Dr. Knebel is a very knowledgeable, talented, professional, personable dentist, he is always teaching his staff how to do things as he goes along. Assistant Christina was very patient and helpful. Blue cross quoted one price one week and then changed it, Christina and the very helpful ladies (Eva and Kendal) at the front made sure that it was taken care of and corrected. If you are ever nervous of going to the Dentist this is the place you need to go!

I just switched to Sierra Dental from another dental office. Both of my kids need orthodontics and it’s so nice to be able to go to an office that has specialists in all areas! My kids immediately felt at ease with Dr. Altalibi. And his assistant Ginny is absolutely amazing!! She explained everything she was doing in detail to my son so he was able to get through a nerve wracking experience with no discomfort or anxiety. We’ll definitely be switching dental offices to Sierra Dental for our entire family!

Murray Knebel (Sierra Dental) has been my dentist for over 30 years. Always professional,positive & on top of the latest and best new ways of practicing correct dental procedures. Highly recommended!

whoops, I forgot my appointment, they called, I went,( just a bit late,) they called the next patient to make sure she wouldn't be inconvenienced by my late arrival and I got my usual excellent care. Thanks!!! Great care by really nice people. Nice friendly environment delivering excellent care.

Allison is an excellent hygienist. She was skillful, professional and gentle. Never made me gag or bleed. I highly recommend her.

I am very satisfied with the treatment that I received at Sierra Dental Centre. The front of clinic staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in regards to insurance. They will work around your schedule to help book an appointment that is convenient for you. The hygienists and dentists are professional, skilled and attentive to patient comfort. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone!

I've been going to Sierra for just over two years now. The dental staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable and I would trust them for all of my oral hygiene needs. I have had great experiences with all of the dentists and hygienists I have seen. They have reasonable prices and are easily able to accommodate those who work during regular business hours as they are open on evenings and weekends. I also can't forget to mention the great waiting room amenities, such as free coffee and snacks. Overall, it's a great practice and I would definitely recommend it!

I am very pleased with the way all staff are attentive to your needs from handling the paperwork to making sure you are comfortable. The work performed has been great. I felt perfectly at ease knowing I would be taken care of in a professional and caring manner. Dr. Herchack is a wonderful dentist. I have been seeing him for 25 years and would never think of going anywhere else.

Courteous, fast, friendly! I had a filling fixed before going to work. They called to let me know when they were running a bit behind, but still had me in and out on time. It felt like and F1 high pit stop the dentist and assistant were so efficient. Thanks Sierra! The admin Aleksandria who helped me is really excellent she remembered I was worried about being too frozen from the last appointment and added a very personable touch to the experience.

I have been going to Sierra dental for 29 years. I have always been afraid of the dentist. When I finally drag myself there I always leave feeling great. The staff who work there make the difference. They are friendly, truly caring, they all listen to your fears and concerns. They are highly educated and knowledgeable in their positions. The best part is Dr Knebel has established a great team who live and breath there mission statement. I thank all of you for the great work you do everyday.

I have had several appointments at each Sierra Dental location, the front end staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming; the facilities are also very up to date and clean. I highly recommend Diane as a hygienist, she is always very professional and informative throughout each visit. Diane also provides useful suggestions on what needs improvement regarding your at home routine. Highly recommend Sierra Dental.
