Sikome Aquatic Facility

Charging for coming here has given me mixed feelings about this place, used to come here for free all the time as a kid. But now that they are charging, the lake seems quieter, even on hot days. A lot of it is still the same, but the water is definitely more shallow as a whole. No more seaweed either, at least that I felt.

Kids can spend hours here building sand castles and splashing in the lake. Great washroom/shower/change facilities too! We all had fun in the sun :)

Clean, well maintained, and properly staffed. Great for kids and adults of all ages!

great value, water can be cleaner and can be very crowded in a hot summer day. Great for kids.

Fun in the sun for everyone. if you can't have a good time here that's on you.

Great place to have fun with family in the summer.

Sand is better than most beaches in Calgary. Usually packed on a good day but finding a spot with 10m space in each direction isn't difficult. Lots of kids around. Water temperature is nice and cool on a hot day but may be a little chilly if it's windy out.
