Went here for dinner tonight,never had been in before...and I will definitely be coming back! Very enjoyable experience, the young lady at the front greeted us immediately and had us seated within maybe 5 minutes tops. Food was absolutely excellent, highly recommend the smashed potatoes side and the beef brisket, but everything was really good, so many delicious choices. The service was great, very friendly and fairly quick, as it was quite a busy night inside. Looking forward to making this a regular dinner-out, go-to place😃

Went for a fathers day supper. Show up to a packed house at 630. Sat in about 5 min. Server came by and got our drinks. Came back in reasonable time. Toke our order. Then we waited. After about hour. Hostess came and talked to us. Our order hadn't been entered. So she got us appetiser immediately. And placed our order. We understood this does happen. And after about 15 min our main came to us. After waiting for that long, that hostess never let our drinks go dry and was making sure to make the wait up to us. Our apps were free. Even got apology from owner.

Just shows you. When mistakes happen you get more then a simple om sorry. They make it right. And make it right now

We had Skinny’s cater our branding this year. They not only arrived on time with hot, nicely clean packaged food, they delivered it all the way to Sunnynook! They were extremely friendly and brought exactly what we ordered. The food was so delicious. Everyone who attended the branding couldn’t stop telling me how much they loved the food. Surprisingly we had some left overs and I’ve been snacking on it everyday. Thank you Skinny’s Smokehouse for the best food ever. Mark us down for next year! You guys ROCK!

My only complaint about this place, their food is too good to use extra sauce, but their sauce is too good not to use. Mmm my favorite place to eat in medicine hat

My husband and I went for dinner tonight with family, the food was ahhhmazing. We ordered the smoked wings (buffalo) to start, they were literally cooked to perfection, probably the best wings we’ve ever eaten. We ordered two 3 and 3 platters between 4 of us, EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious and cooked just right. The food came out quickly, the service was wonderful! (I didn’t catch his name but thumbs up!!!) � love what you did with the new location, it looks fantastic!

Just had skinny’s smoke house cater our wedding out in cypress hills sk. Absolutely outstanding!!! We received so many compliments about the food it was staggering. Would recommend these guys to anyone! You guys really knocked it out of the park!! Cheers!!!

But please please please add a noodle dish to your kids meal selection. Macaroni, spaghetti I don’t care just something for the picky kids who don’t eat meat.

Took my mom there for a late Mother's Day supper, neither of us have never been. We shared dry rub wings to start, awesome, especially dipped in their BBQ sauce which I loved (I normally don't like BBQ sauce at all). Then we shared a three by three, three choices of meat and three sides; sausage, St Louis ribs, brisket (which was my absolute fave, my mouth is watering just thinking about it while I write this) then the sides were; honey corn bread, salad (amazing!) and pulled pork tator tot dish, num!!!!!!!!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because our waiter was running his feet off he was so busy, although he was excellent, it didn't leave much time for customer service and we had a couple of small glitches because of it. Love the atmosphere and decor and was wowed by the pulley system ceiling fans. Overall, we will not only be back, but will frequent the business. I could see us making it a place for a social function, as they have a bar and great atmosphere and what looks like the beginning of a patio, except the $20+ cab ride there and back may not make it worth it.

We ordered take out for an office lunch. This was the first time I had eaten Skinny’s. I had the quesadilla and it was good, but the serving sizes for all of the meals was very very small for the price you pay. This was not just my opinion, but from all of us that ordered for this lunch:(

Great service, good choice of beer. The barbecue itself is certainly good but compared to really good U.S. barbecue (or even the couple of joints we have at home in Regina) it's not outstanding. It'll certainly satisfy your hunger though - portions are decently sized. Nice location if your'e staying in one of the hotels near the Canalta Centre.

Hubby and I went for my birthday yesterday. The service was fast, our waitress was very nice. The food was really not the best. The potato salad was not really potato salad, but left over smoky mashed potatoes with a little bit of bacon bits? and a whole lot of curry or something as it came as a small scoop of golden brown mush. The Saint Louis ribs tasted like old bore with not a lot of meat (hubby is not a big eater and had to order more ribs, she brought 3 ribs), and had to use a LOT of bbq sauce to get through it. I couldn't eat the brown beans for curry taste, and the home made cuc pickles, even though they were good, were soggy. I REALLY miss Montanas!

Foods ok. Music is 100x too loud, can’t even talk to the people at your table without yelling. Waitress was great in the start and then just went to crap we’ve had to ask two other servers to bring more water & refills, sat for over 45 mins with no drinks, food keeps coming cold.

Ordered a cheeseburger and fries for my son. I ordered chicken wings and a poutine. Never got the poutine and the salt and pepper wings were the saltiest I’ve ever had. I tried wiping the salt off but no luck.

Had a rough time paying, not enough debit machines to go around. Won’t be back.

After sitting at the table for 7 mins that’s after I started my timer not 1 of the 5 waitresses standing in the middle in front of the bar had even come to take our drink order. After looking around trying to get one of their attentions after watching them talking, hugging and leaning on the tables we decided to leave. There were 2 other tables in there at the time so it’s not like it was busy. We tried to experience a new place but it will be our last. I then emailed the owner to let him know of our experience right as we left. Now being May 8 I have not yet heard back. Not a good way to get customers for a business that just opened

Was totally frustrating!! It was also advertised that there were going to be "free drink tastings" which apparently we weren't doing which frustrated many customers. I constantly ran food for other people, helped other people with questions and stuff they needed while I wasnt waiting in the long line to use the one pos that was working. I thought I did a great job considering I had worked in some of the busiest and reputable restaurants in Niagara Falls and was helping a couple other girls who were struggling quite a bit that night. Well at the end of the night I was asked to come into the office and was asked how I thought I did, nervous I replied "good" and then was told he didn't think I was a right fit for the team so they were going to let me go and then was asked if that was okay; with tears in my eyes I replied that I had quit my job to work here so no it wasnt okay. and was just told sorry and to leave my uniform in the staff room. My family had reservations for the next night and I still encouraged them to go, they went.. Waited over 20 minutes for there waters and about the same for there platter of food which they found bland and not very appetizing.



Anyways thanks to Skinnys for having me wait over two months, if not longer to work here just to fire me with no good reason given. Ended up not being able to find another job right away and my son and I lost our home!! � Safe to say my family and friends will never eat here.

Never have I written a bad review before, nor have I been asked to leave anywhere in my life.

Hubby and I went for my birthday yesterday. The service was fast, our waitress was very nice. The food was really not the best. The potato salad was not really potato salad, but left over smoky mashed potatoes with a little bit of bacon bits? and a whole lot of curry or something as it came as a small scoop of golden brown mush. The Saint Louis ribs tasted like old bore with not a lot of meat (hubby is not a big eater and had to order more ribs, she brought 3 ribs), and had to use a LOT of bbq sauce to get through it. I couldn't eat the brown beans for curry taste, and the home made cuc pickles, even though they were good, were soggy. I REALLY miss Montanas!

Foods ok. Music is 100x too loud, can’t even talk to the people at your table without yelling. Waitress was great in the start and then just went to crap we’ve had to ask two other servers to bring more water & refills, sat for over 45 mins with no drinks, food keeps coming cold.

Ordered a cheeseburger and fries for my son. I ordered chicken wings and a poutine. Never got the poutine and the salt and pepper wings were the saltiest I’ve ever had. I tried wiping the salt off but no luck.

Had a rough time paying, not enough debit machines to go around. Won’t be back.

Myself and my family went to Skinny’s in April 27/18 and it will be our last. After sitting at the table for 7 mins that’s after I started my timer not 1 of the 5 waitresses standing in the middle in front of the bar had even come to take our drink order. After looking around trying to get one of their attentions after watching them talking, hugging and leaning on the tables we decided to leave. There were 2 other tables in there at the time so it’s not like it was busy. We tried to experience a new place but it will be our last. I then emailed the owner to let him know of our experience right as we left. Now being May 8 I have not yet heard back. Not a good way to get customers for a business that just opened

I got hired here a couple months before the new location opened. Ended up waiting a bit longer cause there were some delays in building the new location. I attended all the meetings before hand, memerized the menu and was extremely excited to start working here. The location was finally open so I quit my job I had been at for over a year because I thought I was going to be getting full time hours here and didn't think I'd be able to handle two jobs while being a single mother. Opening day comes, it was totally packed! They had decided to wait till opening day to have there pos systems hooked up and we ended up only having one system for about 8 or 9 servers, if not more. Was totally frustrating!! It was also advertised that there were going to be "free drink tastings" which apparently we weren't doing which frustrated many customers. I constantly ran food for other people, helped other people with questions and stuff they needed while I wasnt waiting in the long line to use the one pos that was working. I thought I did a great job considering I had worked in some of the busiest and reputable restaurants in Niagara Falls and was helping a couple other girls who were struggling quite a bit that night. Well at the end of the night I was asked to come into the office and was asked how I thought I did, nervous I replied "good" and then was told he didn't think I was a right fit for the team so they were going to let me go and then was asked if that was okay; with tears in my eyes I replied that I had quit my job to work here so no it wasnt okay. and was just told sorry and to leave my uniform in the staff room. My family had reservations for the next night and I still encouraged them to go, they went.. Waited over 20 minutes for there waters and about the same for there platter of food which they found bland and not very appetizing.



Anyways thanks to Skinnys for having me wait over two months, if not longer to work here just to fire me with no good reason given. Ended up not being able to find another job right away and my son and I lost our home!! � Safe to say my family and friends will never eat here.

Came to this place and it was packed... very understandable there would be a wait.... waited 20 minutes to get a menu another 15 for water and one iced tea.... waitress came took our menu before we could order and when we did get to order, waited 2 hours and still no food... owner came and talked to us and told us around 15 minutes and our order would be ready... 20 minutes later he comes back says we will be next.... 6 plates of food come up and they all go to people who have been there long before us... we finally ask what’s going on we are hungry and aggravated and we get asked to leave because a swear word was Used� (I should mention not to him personally or staff just in frustration)no discount, no voucher, nothing but asked to leave hungry! great food but will not be going back. Never have I written a bad review before, nor have I been asked to leave anywhere in my life.
