In the past I have been to several clinics for consultations & treatments & have been somewhat happy however I always feel it is the same thing & suggestions and my skin never really changes or gets the full results I desire. At Skin Science I recently had a consultation with Marie, the owner and wow! It was way more in depth and a full hour! She explained to me how my skin functions and WHY I am experiencing difficulties( I am 40 with mild acne & scarring) Then she went through all my current products & makeup and there were several products that were making my skin worse and I had no idea! She really knows her stuff. She suggested products I could use to replace the ones that were not working for me and told me the ones that I can keep using so she is not pushy at all to make a sale. She is a microbiologist so I trust her even more. I am going in for my first treatment in 2 weeks and I am so excited!! I am using the new products and my skin is already improving. I can't wait to see more results going forward! She is a super sweet lady as well:) I don't think I will ever go anywhere else as I felt they really care about helping you improve your skin:)

I have been going to Marie for a decade. I have adult acne, but you'd never know it thanks to Marie's expertise! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an IPL Photo Facial. I was sunburned quite badly some years back, and due to the burn, I had developed several dark sunspots on my face. After just ONE session, I have noticed a DRASTIC reduction in the pigmentation of these sunspots! So much so, I can't even tell you where they all were/are!

I had an appointment for a skin consultation with Marie, she was friendly and professional. She explained clearly, suggested treatments and I purchased a product after my consultation. I paid close to $200 and left the clinic on a good note, excited for a treatment I had booked in November.
On my merry way I went, I came home and started reading online reviews about SkinScience only to find out that they actually charge for a skin consultation! I was charged $95 for a consultation. I wasn't told there was a fee associated with the service when I booked the appointment (I was a new client) or when I paid for my product. I just assumed that my product was expensive-which they often are! A word of caution to anyone who goes in for a skin consultation, you will be charged a fee...

Update: Marie contacted me immediately the next day to follow up on my feedback and acknowledge the miscommunication. I appreciate the fact that she followed-up and it shows that she cares about her customers.
