The 9th annual SkirtsAfire Festival will take place March 4-14, 2021.
Founded in 2012, SkirtsAfire is a 10 day theatre and multidisciplinary arts festival that empowers, develops, supports and showcases female-identifying artists. We create space for artistic excellence to be cultivated, experienced and passed on. We are diverse and daring.
In conjunction with International Women’s Day, our festival runs each March at various venues in Old Strathcona, Downtown and Alberta Ave. Programming includes Theatre, Poetry, Spoken Word, Design, Art, Dance, Music, Comedy, Yoga, Food & Drinks.
