Sky 360

The restaurant setting is certainty unique, offering you full 360 degree views of Calgary downtown and surrounding area as far as the edge of the Rockies on a clear day. However, I felt that the food on the other hand was not on an equivalent level. The grilled chicken breast was overcooked, fairly bland, and very dry. The rotini was also slightly overcooked and reasonably soggy. The rose sauce was actually quite flavorful and smooth, but it just felt like it wasn't enough to save the dish.

For such an amazing venue in an iconic Calgary location, the food just didn't taste up to par.

The service was great and the experience was amazing but for the price point of the menu, the quality of food didn’t match up. I order the tenderloin which was around $56. It came with prawns which one was undercooked, vegetables that were only season with oil and pepper, and mashed potatoes which was delicious compared to the other things on the plate. I don’t know if the other items are worth the price but in my case I wasn’t expecting a steak the size of a puck to be served to me... also for the appetizer I ordered an 11$ soup which tasted like any canned vegetable soup would taste like but the amount of soup given was less then what you would receive in a can of soup. However, the dessert I order (lavender creme brûlée was exquisite!

Would recommend if you like new experiences but would not recommend if you’re looking for high end cuisine.

Great views, slow service, not so great food or drinks. The restaurant in way overdue for a renovation, it's overly priced and overall disappointing. The only thing they have going for them is the view. I would recommend the observation deck for the view and going to one of the many great restaurants within walking distance from the Calgary Tower. It's a real shame seeing a place with so much potential go to waste. The restaurant is doing a real disservice to Calgarians by operating at such low standards in the City's most iconic building.

I had read the negative reviews but decided to come for the experience anyway. So glad we did. The food was amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. We had our food presented promptly. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. It is pricey but well in line with restaurants of this caliber in Calgary. We will be back.

We visited Sky360 for the first time last night to celebrate a birthday with high hopes that it would be a special experience for such an event. $200 later, we left disappointed and unsatisfied. First, we had to wait for our table to be set up even though we had a reservation. Then we waited so long for our drinks to arrive, that the server stated the bartender is backed up. We ordered our food and were told 10-15 minutes later than they ran out of one of the menu items so we would have to change our order. Another 10 minutes passed when the server came back to our table to say that they actually do have some left of that menu item. When our food finally arrived, one of our dishes was cold and the other one was dried out. Extremely underwhelming portions and excessively overpriced. Finally, we were were only just asked if we were celebrating a special occasion when it came time for dessert and upon ordering a dessert wine, we were informed that they no longer carry this wine. Why are there items on the menu that are no longer served? Very unimpressed with this "high end" restaurant. I could have made a better birthday meal at home for half the price.

The presentation of our food is why I give three stars. The rest was not so great. My boyfriend and I went on September 10th 2017 at 6:00 for my birthday dinner (his surprise for me). The waiter was friendly enough, although took his time with refilling our drinks (my boyfriends beer glass sat empty on our table for over 10 minuets). The time between the appetizer to our meals was at least 20 more minuets, and after being able to only finish a quarter of my eggplant Parmesan and asking for it to be taken to go....I received no box. That's right, we ordered dessert ( after more waiting after asking to get a dessert menu....)
and received our bill but not the rest of my food? Never mind that after finishing my glass of wine, I was never offered another. The place wasn't overly busy either..so no excuse there. Not sure I recommend this place. $12 for four shrimp to be added to my pasta, only for them to throw it out because I couldn't finish.

Had to add a review as this restaurant is definitely not worth 5 stars. You are paying high prices for the view at that's it. Would recommend paying for the observation tower if you need to see the view, and then eating elsewhere. Several of the chair seats are ripping, cracking and torn - all 4 of us had to swap out our chairs today. The restaurant has potential to be lovely but is very dated, as are the washrooms. My blackened chicken was totally dry and was something you'd expect on a fast food burger. It is baffling why the restaurant can't provide at least comfortable and new furniture if they're going to charge such high prices. Two stars are for the view and friendly staff.

Visited here recently for my birthday dinner. There is a musty smell that compliments the dated decor but we thought it would be fine with the good service and food. Wrong. Food was overpriced and not tasty. I ordered a steak medium well but it was served rare. After sending it back, 10 minutes passed and it came back very well done. It was comped so that was a nice gesture. But another guest ordered seafood as an entree. It was not fresh and he was then sick on the walk home. Service was mediocre. We had to ask several times to have our water filled too. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

This is a very, very expensive restaurant but also a very, very good one. I would suggest dressing in a more formal manner. This restaurant is certainly fancy, as are the menu options. Each time that we've gone service was always really good and the food was also delicious and satisfying. It also has great views, being situated on the top of Calgary's most iconic tower. I would definitely say it's a great place to go for a date.

We went for lunch on a clear day and could see the mountains perfectly. The meals were good and the staff was kind. It's a bonus that they waive the fee to ride to the top of you purchase an entree! I did notice that the dinner menu though was significantly higher priced for what seemed to be the same dishes. I haven't been for dinner so I'm not sure if the portion sizes are different but that put me off of ever going for dinner.

Wonderful experience!! We started with very tasty appetizers, followed by good sized, great tasting entrees! Prime rib and fish dishes were mouthwatering with impressive presentation. Atmosphere is incomparable to any other restaurant in the city, with 360 degree views seen over a little over an hour. Sunset over the mountains was unbelievable!! Attentive friendly server and a couple of visits from a manager I presume, just to check on how our meals were and if we needed anything. Very impressed! Would definitely highly recommend.
Arrange to be seated before the sun sets, the views are well worth it!!

My little sister and I had an excellent experience at Sky 360. They made her birthday extra special for us and were extremely accommodating of our special circumstances. Nasser and his team made it a night to remember.

Great dessert and great service. Would highly recommend.

I got to go here for a birthday supper and it was amazing I felt so classy. The food was to die for I had a rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection. I had no idea what my birthday desert was but it looked and tasted very very yummy so fancy. Staff was also wonderful. It's not loud and you get to enjoy a beautiful view of the city
