We were so impressed by Dr Browns explanation of what he had planned for each boy and the reason behind it that we were sold on coming here. Dr Brown was actually concerned about the whole profile of their face, an idea that I hadn't thought about. That's why he has been in the business as long as he has!! Dr Duncan and Dr Dana are an awesome pair, they have been treating my sons for the past 2 years with fantastic results. The whole team are wonderful caring people.

I think these people are amazing. It seems I have almost grown up here from my braces then my kids and now further dental work. From the welcome when you check in to the warm yummy cookies. My sons and I have been to the Calgary office and now we are happy to travel to the near by Okotoks office. We feel like family and the quality of care is the best. Would highly recommend Dr.Duncan and Dr. Dana and their staff for all your orthodontic needs.

I wanted to leave an honest review to encourage others who are currently considering orthodontics to choose SmileZone. I am an adult patient and I wanted to get braces for a long time to correct my overbite, however I couldn’t afford it and I was nervous about the procedures. I visited this office based on a recommendation and I am very happy that I did. When I first walked into the SmileZone clinic I was greeted by the friendly front desk staff, they quickly checked me in and offered me a drink and snack while I waited. I was quite impressed by the inside of the office as it is very modern, clean, and bright. I met with Dr. Dana Van Elslande who was very pleasant and professional. Dana did a thorough examination, provided me with a few different treatment options, shared before and after photos from similar procedures, answered my questions, and developed a payment plan that was manageable.

Dr. Van Elslande has a gentle touch when she is working on your teeth and is very understanding. I am thrilled because I am already starting to see a difference in my teeth. SmileZone also has an incentive program and prize draw that they offer to their patients to promote good hygiene and self care. Participants have a chance to be rewarded for taking proper care of their braces on daily basis. Next week Dr. Van Elslande and Dr. Brown are taking clients to see Beauty and the Beast movie at the theaters. Before I was apprehensive about seeing an Orthodontist, now I actually enjoy my appointments as I get to socialize with the staff and grab a cookie or two.

The staff here are excellent. Went to a different orthodontist and felt like it was a cash grab. At SmileZone they took the time to make sure I understood what was happening and why. They also made sure my child was completely comfortable and knew what was happening.

Dr. Van Elslande and her staff are incredible people. Her approach is very warm, compassionate, and professional. She was incredibly patient with all of the questions that I had. I am so happy to have her as my orthodontist and will recommend her to any family and friends who require this type of care!

My children loath going to the dentist so I knew taking them to see an orthodontist wasn't going to be a good time. Dr. Van Elslande was amazing! She immediately put my son at ease, she was so gentle and good with him & all the other patients he was actually happy to go to the other appointments.

I went to see her because I was recommended by other friends, so I'm passing on that recommendation. Can't say enough good things!
