Bought my first pinball machine from SML. It is an older classic machine and had a few minor issues with it. The service team was fantastic at fixing the issues and everything works perfect. Look forward to purchasing another.

My husband I were looking to upgrade our back yard, and entertainment room. We had no clue where to start. We went to a few other business around Calgary, but the customer service with Sml left a lasting impression!

We knew we wanted a hot tub and Foosball table. But, we had so many questions, like -- Where is our hot tub going to be placed? What type of power will we need? How do you clean the tub and how often. Do we have that perfect spot to set the hot tub? What size would work best for us?

The staff that helped us went over and above. Asking us questions that we didn’t even think of asking ourselves. We also discuss many other key areas you may not have thought of while envisioning the relaxation area! The staff member who was helping us told it the way it was, and showed us the advantages and disadvantages of all their units. I do not write reviews often, but, i feel that it is important to let people know when a person / company give exceptional service!

The Sales Manager Dean, actually helped us determine which hot tub best suited our needs. It wasn’t about making the sale, like many other places tried to push on us. We gave them a ball park idea of how much we wanted to spend, and they stayed within it. Not only were we able to buy the hot tub and Foosball table, we also upgraded our patio set!

Would recommend Sml Entertainment to anyone looking to upgrade their game room or backyard.

These guys are opportunists preying on ignorant consumers. They will routinely sell classic arcade machines and pinball for literally 10 times what they are worth. For example: they will take a decent standup arcade machine (like an old Golden Tee), remove the arcade monitor, game, install an LCD, a cheap 60-in-one board, and instead of a $200-$500 average price they will sell it for north of $2500! It's highway robbery. I would strongly suggest anyone in the market for an arcade machine to look to private collectors in town, just spend a couple weeks/days following ads on Kijiji, or join the online arcade community named: "KLOV" and find a better deal.

Aside from this, the multiple encounters I've had with Tony Fisher (their President and CEO), and his son (one of their Managers), has been far less than stellar. He was rude from the start, and across multiple interactions over my first and only purchase they both treated me in a way that made me question how they've been in business this long. Even when asking the receptionist if I had just caught them on a bad day, she remarked that it was "par for the course".

Bottom line: If you're desperate, and have no place else to turn for your arcade, game room, etc. needs, I would still not suggest opening your wallet for these guys. Nobody's that desperate.

I originally had this review on Yelp, but they petitioned to have it removed citing that it wasn't listed at their head office location. It was. It saddens me they would try to cover up even the slightest criticism. Send your upper management to sensitivity and customer service training and you won't have people leave negative reviews.

Our family loves our gazebo and hot tub we purchased a few years ago. We added a patio set from SML this past season. Great service and delivery. Always a fun place to shop and see the games.

Great experience. Took my family to look at new patio furniture and were extremely pleased with the knowledgeable and courteous staff. Amazed at the variety of products SML offers! We will be back again... Not sure if it will be for a hot tub or pool table.
