This has always been my favourite mall in Calgary to visit and shop. It's small and easy to get around with a great variety of stores, it's clean and not overly crowded during the holiday season. Parking has never been an issue with not finding something close by an entrance and valet parking is available at the north entrance!

Southcentre mall is the best mall to go to in the summer and every other season.... I just love the way how the stores are ... and I'm glad it's not too big..... so my rating for this would be a 20/20.�

Southcenter had the best customer service I have seen in a long time. They accommodated my family to see Santa Claus right away with my father who is on oxygen and couldn't wait in line for 4 hrs to see Santa with his Grandkids. Then they paid for our Santa pictures!! Thank you Southcenter so much!!! Thank you for helping us create memories for my family. Thank you!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Seen a video calling you’re mall racist � yet they are calling down foreigners so basically all I see is equality at its best good job

First the young man and woman working at the customer service were great and got me a single stroller free of charge because the machine that took the credit cards wasn't working, thus saving me from a meltdown from my daughter.



Also the young woman at Guess went over and beyond anything I could even imagine with my daughter while I shopped, including letting my daughter help with bagging items, keeping her happy the entire time by having her "write reciepts" and so so much more, this woman also stopped my daughter from a freak out by telling her "princesses don't cry, they're too fabulous" which instantly had my daughter smile and listen to me (I'm going to hold on to that one). I can't sinh praise enough from today's experience

The mall is okay, but it’s always freezing cold. You are constantly shivering while shopping (or working) in the mall. They should start actually heating the place or people won’t want to shop here. there are already so many bad reviews of customer service and now it’s always cold. Everyone would rather shop at Chinook.

What happened in pearl vision needs to be made right with this poor women! How absurd and I will NEVER step food in the entire establishment! Having a women remove her shirt, empty her FOOD on the dirty desk. If I could give 0 stars I would! That’s absolutely horrendous! Make this right!

U better train your employees better!!! Shame on your store for treating that woman that way accusing her of stealing calling security on her without any confirmation she stole anything!!!so very unprofessional!!! Sick I hope the woman employed gets fired!!!

To racially profile our people is not acceptable and just b/c that worker who as she said “been here for 7 years” � than maybe she would keep better track of her supplies and when she stocks them! I just called and will call again when the manager is in & told the sales guy she’s been working there for 7 years, Indigenous people have been on this land for hundreds, so asking for a little respect isn’t much!! What statement/aplogy is the mall going to release?!?! If you don’t distance yourself from this racist action than you are condone it! So why would ANY Indigenous person, minority or anyone against racism shop at a mall that accepts and advocates racism!?!

This is a racist establishment and all Indigenous people should boycott this place. Have some respect for the First People of this land you work on and learn your Treaty Rights you ignorant clerks.

Seems like your security guards don’t know how to do their jobs and will lie to people in order to conduct unlawful searches. How are you going to fix this and make good?

May want to work on your staffing and training possibly learn to train your staff in stores not to be racist and wrongfully accuse people of stealing.

I’ve watched a video of one of their employees who has worked there apparently for 7 years accuse an older woman of stealing glasses frames. NOT EVEN GLASSES FOLKS, FRAMES!!!! It is both disrespectful to abuse her own authority as well as humiliating to violate her rights. I’m placing this review until they address or sort out the issue.

If you care about your board/skis at all - DON'T WAX HERE at Sporting Life!! They lost my board (dropped off Friday, due to be ready Sunday), then, when they finally found it today (Tuesday), threw it through their machine quickly as I guess they'd forgotten to do it, handed it back sticky and in worse shape than when I took it in! :( It's uneven, got ridges in it and a complete mess - this is an expensive board+bindings set up and i'm not a happy bunny... It was fine before, I only dropped it off due to their store opening promotion, and now I'm going to have to pay a LOT of $$ to try to fix it. Stick with your usual store - DON'T GO HERE!!

I say boycott this mall for being racist and searching a women for nothing shame on this mall and the store that did it! We should picket and blast you on social media and local media ! Shame on that pervert security guard

Fri 23rd Dec 2016 - we sat in nearly stationary traffic to go from left hand side of the entrance to escape out onto the highway the other side from 1pm until 3pm. We will never go back anywhere near the holidays, if at all. Two hours to move half a kilometer?! It was insane. We only went there to collect someone at the entrance! I had to cancel a client's session and my husband was an hour late to work. This fiasco thus cost us over $200.



Surely there could have been some assistance at the entrance to direct traffic? Staff surely would have heard if not seen the mayhem outside. I think it was short-sighted to assist - I would bet everyone who was there in that nightmare today won't go back anytime soon and certainly not at Christmas.



I would advise anyone to steer clear of Southcentre mall because once you go into the area surrounding the mall, you're stuck. We recorded a short video of the situation, because really it was unbelievable. I'll post it later since there are so many comments saying that it's not busy during the holidays...Lol.

And YES, we do expect any mall to be busy at Christmas but to have to sit there for TWO HOURS - traffic was blocked along the road in front of the entrance, and at all exits of parking lot. I've never had to do that on 23rd or even 24th Dec, Maybe we've had to wait 20 minutes, but today was ridiculous.
