Went into Southgate Volkswagen to look at my options, Chris introduced himself. From there on my experience was great. Chris worked persistently to find me the right vehicle to match mine and my fiancé needs. We took a couple vehicles out for test drive, they pleased my needs in a vehicle, but my fiancé was looking for something a little different. It’s too bad that we could not find the right vehicle. Chris was easy to get along with and very knowledgable in what he does.

This Experience was great I bought my first Jetta GLI from Dan. The car was a blast. The second Jetta TDI look beautiful and runs beautiful. Thank you Dan.

Just picked up our Highline Volkswagen Tiguan 2018 at Southgate Volkswagen, and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience buying from Jordan A., our sales associate, and Jason L., the manager! My mom couldn't speak English, but Jordan talked slowly and tried his very best to explain everything thoroughly. He is professional, kind, patient, friendly and absolutely amazing to work with! He is always ready to go for an extra mile for customers! Jason broke the language barrier and was super efficient and well-organized. He was very nice and not the least bit pushy. Thanks for answering our endless questions! They are incredible, and I highly recommend them to everyone!!!

Jackson and Jason were extremely welcoming and helpful when I came into purchase my new vehicle. Evan in finance also made my experience amazing. I had to bring my atlas in today for a tire repair. Travis in service was amazing to work with, got our tire ordered and placed on fast and efficient the following day. They even washed it for us. Amazing service for this busy mom �

Definitely didn’t have my best interest in mind when it came to my trade in. Didn’t ask any questions about it and I would have been duped if I didn’t inquire further.

Felt unneeded pressure from my salesman, and his efforts felt insincere, more about the sale and less about what my needs were.

Finance was nice to deal with but I guess that’s a whole other environment behind those doors.

Just had my Golf in to be checked under warranty as the Air Conditioning failed. They want $250.00 to check it. What a rip off, do not go here. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. VW Canada is no better, they said they stand behind their dealer and the dealer can charge anything they want under warranty to inspect. Do not buy a VW or service here, they will rip you off.

I’ve gone into this dealership twice in the last 3 weekends to just look a closer look and maybe even test drive one if I found something I liked. Most dealerships the sales team members are jumping on you. Both times I walked around the showroom floor twice and walked around the lot. Hell I even went in again after walking the lot. Still no offer of assistance from anyone and yet not everyone was busy. Almost need to install those help buzzers they have at Cdn tire. If they don’t care to sell me a vehicle, I can only imagine what the service dept would be like dealing with �

I have always loved the Golf GTI and Golf R models and finally decided to purchase one three months ago from this dealer. First of all, the sale was quick and painless good job there. However, I had requested a tint job done on the vehicle as well as have the bumper repaired before purchase because it was damaged. I had received the vehicle 9 business days later with almost all the gas gone when I had filled it up, and my car in sport mode not put there by me so someone had taken a nice fast ride in my car before I could even drive it. Also, they had informed me it shouldn’t take more than a week for the car to be done so within those 9 days I had to find my own means of transportation.The recon job done on the vehicle before delivery I wouldn’t even consider a recon job let alone a clean vehicle on the interior.I had to pay someone else to do the job right. While I was inquiring about my vehicle within the 9 days I had waited for it to be finished because I had no vehicle I was told I can cab to the dealer and they would pay the fee,how insulting it is when I had just paid $30,000 for a vehicle and have people care less about the customers needs. Fast forward a month, I had brought the vehicle in for warranty repair and several things were missed by the service advisor I had told them needed to be addressed but were not. Then, I come back,now my vehicle is out of factory warranty for the same work that needed to be done while it was still in warranty but was never addressed the first time as I don’t have all the time in the world to drive to the dealership to issue my complaints and they can’t do anything about it anymore because it’s out of warranty. This place is a joke of a dealership it has ruined my experience thinking Volkswagen’s were a good choice to buy I should have stuck with Japanese vehicles because at least the people I deal with there actually listened and cared about what I had to say. I completely avoid this dealership just to get my regular maintenance done on the vehicle because I feel that I will not be able to get the customer service I deserve.

I went down for the appointment and they doubled the price and refused to honor the warrantee. They got aggressive so I took my car and went to find a garage that wanted my work. I got the work done for less than half the price and they honored the extended warrantee. Buyer beware of the folks at Southgate Volkswagen.

You think you could have mentioned that the 3 times we communicated with your dealership. You guys are nothing but a bunch of sleazy scam artists just looking to make a buck. Horrible customer service. I'll be sure to spread the word to steer clear of your slimy services.

Buyers be aware, do not buy from this place! Price is about $2-3000 higher from other dealers in town! Sales manager was very arrogent and rude. The sales manager would not refund the downpayment! Be cautious while buying from this dealership.. take extra caution when signing anything from them!

You think you could have mentioned that the 3 times we communicated with your dealership. You guys are nothing but a bunch of sleazy scam artists just looking to make a buck. Buyers be aware, do not buy from this place! Price is about $2-3000 higher from other dealers in town! Sales manager was very arrogent and rude. Watch out for deposite/downpaymeny as they ask for non-refundable. Other places dont do this. After i signed my purchase agreement, i want to back out of the deal dur to finicial issues. The sales manager would not refund the downpayment! Be cautious while buying from this dealership.. take extra caution when signing anything from them!

Went into Southgate Volkswagen to look at my options, Chris introduced himself. From there on my experience was great. Chris worked persistently to find me the right vehicle to match mine and my fiancé needs. We took a couple vehicles out for test drive, they pleased my needs in a vehicle, but my fiancé was looking for something a little different. It’s too bad that we could not find the right vehicle. Chris was easy to get along with and very knowledgable in what he does.

Definitely didn’t have my best interest in mind when it came to my trade in. Didn’t ask any questions about it and I would have been duped if I didn’t inquire further.

Felt unneeded pressure from my salesman, and his efforts felt insincere, more about the sale and less about what my needs were.

Finance was nice to deal with but I guess that’s a whole other environment behind those doors.

Just had my Golf in to be checked under warranty as the Air Conditioning failed. They want $250.00 to check it. What a rip off, do not go here. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. VW Canada is no better, they said they stand behind their dealer and the dealer can charge anything they want under warranty to inspect. Do not buy a VW or service here, they will rip you off.

I’ve gone into this dealership twice in the last 3 weekends to just look a closer look and maybe even test drive one if I found something I liked. Most dealerships the sales team members are jumping on you. Both times I walked around the showroom floor twice and walked around the lot. Hell I even went in again after walking the lot. Still no offer of assistance from anyone and yet not everyone was busy. Almost need to install those help buzzers they have at Cdn tire. If they don’t care to sell me a vehicle, I can only imagine what the service dept would be like dealing with �

I have always loved the Golf GTI and Golf R models and finally decided to purchase one three months ago from this dealer. First of all, the sale was quick and painless good job there. However, I had requested a tint job done on the vehicle as well as have the bumper repaired before purchase because it was damaged. I had received the vehicle 9 business days later with almost all the gas gone when I had filled it up, and my car in sport mode not put there by me so someone had taken a nice fast ride in my car before I could even drive it. Also, they had informed me it shouldn’t take more than a week for the car to be done so within those 9 days I had to find my own means of transportation.The recon job done on the vehicle before delivery I wouldn’t even consider a recon job let alone a clean vehicle on the interior.I had to pay someone else to do the job right. While I was inquiring about my vehicle within the 9 days I had waited for it to be finished because I had no vehicle I was told I can cab to the dealer and they would pay the fee,how insulting it is when I had just paid $30,000 for a vehicle and have people care less about the customers needs. Fast forward a month, I had brought the vehicle in for warranty repair and several things were missed by the service advisor I had told them needed to be addressed but were not. Then, I come back,now my vehicle is out of factory warranty for the same work that needed to be done while it was still in warranty but was never addressed the first time as I don’t have all the time in the world to drive to the dealership to issue my complaints and they can’t do anything about it anymore because it’s out of warranty. This place is a joke of a dealership it has ruined my experience thinking Volkswagen’s were a good choice to buy I should have stuck with Japanese vehicles because at least the people I deal with there actually listened and cared about what I had to say. I completely avoid this dealership just to get my regular maintenance done on the vehicle because I feel that I will not be able to get the customer service I deserve.

I called to make and appointment and they never returned my call. I went down and booked an appointment they took all my particulars and the detail about what needed to be done told me a price. I went down for the appointment and they doubled the price and refused to honor the warrantee. They got aggressive so I took my car and went to find a garage that wanted my work. I got the work done for less than half the price and they honored the extended warrantee. Buyer beware of the folks at Southgate Volkswagen.
