I ran into some issues with south view.....

I realized a while ago that i didnt get a lug nut key and i had asked the sales manager to get me one it was saposed to come with the car that was brought to me in red deer well it wasnt so he told me let him know next time i could make it in to them in edmonton that i could possibly pick one up or order one in that being said i had to call back and explain all this for them and say why cant i go to my local dealer so they agreed to pay for one from honda in red deer that being said it took me and the local dealer 3weeks of voicemails and emails to have it finally paid for when i was told every time he would do it right away i was to the point i was about to ask reception to keep me on hold untill he can pick the phone up because 21 days i had to wait to change my tires and be able to work on my vehicle ...... Now to top it off i had the person who sold it to me tell me the exterrior and interrior were mint (was a friend of a friend who sold me it) and i was out of town come to find the hoods has cracked paint everywhere who ever painted it got paint on damn near every rubber the front fog lights busted .... The interrior had a hole in the carpet and burn in the back seat i also i had it show up with half a tank... When i paid for delevery i didnt know it was so they could use my gas everyother time you buy a car from a lot you get a full tank or a gas card long story short they had me sold at the begining but now. I have a whole different outlook for this place (thats only the half of it all) to me it seems like i was taken advantage of when i was in a tough spot .... So adter reading this review ill let you decide where you want to spend your hard earned money

Just dropped off my wife's vehicle for winter tires and must say the customer service that Southview just demonstrated was outstanding. In this day and age where customer focus has shifted away from care for the customer this was a very pleasant surprise.

We’ve been taking our other Acura to Southview for years and have always had great service at a reasonable price. By far the best service I've ever had. Coming from a 'high end' German vehicle manufacturer their service couldn't even touch Southview Acura.

Mary has always given excellent service and goes above and beyond every time. Fab and his service crew do an amazing job every time. Couldn't recommend them any higher.

Always deal with John in parts. Hes a stand up guy. Also everyone else Ive interacted with at this dealership has been pleasant and dont mind if I stand there and drool over the Nsx. Now i just gotta gain their trust to let me take it for a road test lol �. 10/10 would recommend

Today was my first deal with them. My advisor explained well the work needed and estimated the work to be from 7:30 to 12:00 pm . I didn't receive any all till 4 pm . So I decided to go there to see . And found that the reason was my weak battery and they want my permission to change it so they can diagnose the problem . I asked why you didn't call me and ask me by phone rather than spending the day waiting for my permission. I have to go again tomorrow after changing the battery just to do a work of 2 hours max . I would say good service quality but not fast service.

Possibly the worst selling experience I've ever received. I was an Ontario customer who was inquiring a car as I had to chase the dealership to give me an update, they lied on where the car was serviced then as I was waiting to hear when the car was back they had sold it to somebody else, wasting my time for a week. Would not recommend to buy from them.

I was ripped off when I purchased a used 2012 VW Tiguan, in the ad and salespeople said that it had Bluetooth, after buying it the vehicle Bluetooth didn't work properly (it was just Bluetooth Ready ) and to make it work I had to pay an extra $1,400, which Southview Acura didn't want to assume!! Very bad for them!!

I left Fort McMurray at 2am and drove 5 hours to Edmonton to get my car serviced and a broken trunk cable and actuator replaced only to get slapped with an extra 300 dollar charge on my bill because they refused to honour the warranty on the trunk cable. I offered to pay for the actuator and the labor (half hour tops) for that specific part because I was responsible for breaking it (even though it had to be taken apart to release tension on the latch spring in order to close my trunk and open my gas cap). I simply asked for the cable and the labor for putting the cable in to be covered under warranty as that had broken through no fault of my own, and they refused to cover it. Nice way to treat a loyal Honda/Acura (4 new ones and several used ones) customer who spent 10 hours on the road that day isn't it. The service manager couldn't even come out to talk to me and had the adviser do all his dirty work. Way to lose a potentially lifelong customer Southside Acura and Acura Canada. Even though Honda and Acura make a solid product, we will be movinf to a different brand with our next vehicles.

I have bought 2 cars from Southview. Ready to retire my RDX and buy car 3 from them. Excited about the new 2019 RDX. Needed an oil change and asked for a RDX demo vehicle. Told 'no courtesy cars for oil changes'. I explained that I have busy job/schedule so to combine a demo and an oil change in one visit would be really convenient and appreciated. Nice lady in Service talked to Sales (Yue?) and was told that they can't let out the RDXs because they have to keep them on hand for demos. (note the irony) Said that Sales would call me back...never did. Service even called back to see if Sales called back...still no call. So I went to Jiffy lube and booked an RDX demo with Westside Acura who said I could demo the RDX whenever it was convenient. Always heard West Side was good, didn't have a reason to go there until now.

I am dealing with Acura overall. The quality of the car is not worth what I paid for. Plus the service at the 2 dealerships in Calgary is horrible. Just letting people know the truth. I have a very bad experience with Acura and as a service manager told me that dealership wants to sell cars and make money , not to provide customers with a quality car and good service after they bought it. I was not notified about manufacture paint defect and Acura Canada is not going to fix it after 6 month me trying to deal with them. They never call me back and that makes my experience very frustrating. Everyone tells me different information, go take pictures at the dealership but Acura dealership did not even send it to Acura-Honda Canada, I had to contact them multiple times, figure out claim number, remind to send info again, and nothing was resolved and they are not going to. Plus I found out today that the airbag is a recall as well. Very upset about the quality and service and suggesting to people choose a different car if they care about money and want to enjoy it after. My car is in white black spots all over and it’s not even safe with an air bags. $40,000 I spent was a waste of my money.

I have a very bad experience with Acura and as a service manager told me that dealership wants to sell cars and make money , not to provide customers with a quality car and good service after they bought it. I was not notified about manufacture paint defect and Acura Canada is not going to fix it after 6 month me trying to deal with them. They never call me back and that makes my experience very frustrating. Everyone tells me different information, go take pictures at the dealership but Acura dealership did not even send it to Acura-Honda Canada, I had to contact them multiple times, figure out claim number, remind to send info again, and nothing was resolved and they are not going to. Plus I found out today that the airbag is a recall as well. Very upset about the quality and service and suggesting to people choose a different car if they care about money and want to enjoy it after. My car is in white black spots all over and it’s not even safe with an air bags. $40,000 I spent was a waste of my money.

Traded in my Toyota Tundra for a beautiful Mdx for my wife. Chelsea and Billy in the sales dept really made this the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made. Melanie in the service dept was nothing but a gem, very helpful. Best dealership experience I've ever had.

Such great service! Genuinely cared about how happy I was with the vehicle, did the best they could to make sure a got a great deal, and added features to make sure it was perfect for me. Made my first car purchase extremely smooth. Even brought me Starbucks when I picked my vehicle up! 10 out of 5 on the customer service

I ran into some issues with south view.....

I realized a while ago that i didnt get a lug nut key and i had asked the sales manager to get me one it was saposed to come with the car that was brought to me in red deer well it wasnt so he told me let him know next time i could make it in to them in edmonton that i could possibly pick one up or order one in that being said i had to call back and explain all this for them and say why cant i go to my local dealer so they agreed to pay for one from honda in red deer that being said it took me and the local dealer 3weeks of voicemails and emails to have it finally paid for when i was told every time he would do it right away i was to the point i was about to ask reception to keep me on hold untill he can pick the phone up because 21 days i had to wait to change my tires and be able to work on my vehicle ...... Now to top it off i had the person who sold it to me tell me the exterrior and interrior were mint (was a friend of a friend who sold me it) and i was out of town come to find the hoods has cracked paint everywhere who ever painted it got paint on damn near every rubber the front fog lights busted .... The interrior had a hole in the carpet and burn in the back seat i also i had it show up with half a tank... When i paid for delevery i didnt know it was so they could use my gas everyother time you buy a car from a lot you get a full tank or a gas card long story short they had me sold at the begining but now. I have a whole different outlook for this place (thats only the half of it all) to me it seems like i was taken advantage of when i was in a tough spot .... So adter reading this review ill let you decide where you want to spend your hard earned money

Just dropped off my wife's vehicle for winter tires and must say the customer service that Southview just demonstrated was outstanding. In this day and age where customer focus has shifted away from care for the customer this was a very pleasant surprise.

Always deal with John in parts. Hes a stand up guy. Also everyone else Ive interacted with at this dealership has been pleasant and dont mind if I stand there and drool over the Nsx. Now i just gotta gain their trust to let me take it for a road test lol �. 10/10 would recommend

Today was my first deal with them. My advisor explained well the work needed and estimated the work to be from 7:30 to 12:00 pm . I didn't receive any all till 4 pm . So I decided to go there to see . And found that the reason was my weak battery and they want my permission to change it so they can diagnose the problem . I asked why you didn't call me and ask me by phone rather than spending the day waiting for my permission. I have to go again tomorrow after changing the battery just to do a work of 2 hours max . I would say good service quality but not fast service.

I was an Ontario customer who was inquiring a car as I had to chase the dealership to give me an update, they lied on where the car was serviced then as I was waiting to hear when the car was back they had sold it to somebody else, wasting my time for a week. Would not recommend to buy from them.

I was ripped off when I purchased a used 2012 VW Tiguan, in the ad and salespeople said that it had Bluetooth, after buying it the vehicle Bluetooth didn't work properly (it was just Bluetooth Ready ) and to make it work I had to pay an extra $1,400, which Southview Acura didn't want to assume!! Very bad for them!!

I left Fort McMurray at 2am and drove 5 hours to Edmonton to get my car serviced and a broken trunk cable and actuator replaced only to get slapped with an extra 300 dollar charge on my bill because they refused to honour the warranty on the trunk cable. I offered to pay for the actuator and the labor (half hour tops) for that specific part because I was responsible for breaking it (even though it had to be taken apart to release tension on the latch spring in order to close my trunk and open my gas cap). I simply asked for the cable and the labor for putting the cable in to be covered under warranty as that had broken through no fault of my own, and they refused to cover it. Nice way to treat a loyal Honda/Acura (4 new ones and several used ones) customer who spent 10 hours on the road that day isn't it. The service manager couldn't even come out to talk to me and had the adviser do all his dirty work. Way to lose a potentially lifelong customer Southside Acura and Acura Canada. Even though Honda and Acura make a solid product, we will be movinf to a different brand with our next vehicles.

I have bought 2 cars from Southview. Ready to retire my RDX and buy car 3 from them. Excited about the new 2019 RDX. Needed an oil change and asked for a RDX demo vehicle. Told 'no courtesy cars for oil changes'. I explained that I have busy job/schedule so to combine a demo and an oil change in one visit would be really convenient and appreciated. Nice lady in Service talked to Sales (Yue?) and was told that they can't let out the RDXs because they have to keep them on hand for demos. (note the irony) Said that Sales would call me back...never did. Service even called back to see if Sales called back...still no call. So I went to Jiffy lube and booked an RDX demo with Westside Acura who said I could demo the RDX whenever it was convenient. Always heard West Side was good, didn't have a reason to go there until now.
