There are reasons why they are permanently closed and moved to a new location with a different name.

Recently had about $8,000 in dental work done with a different dentist, but this Dr. Lekhi was one of the first dentists to which I went for an assessment. Her performance was unprofessional and rude. Immediately wanted to do hundreds of dollars of x-rays - even with x-rays dentists will still say they don't know for sure what might be required until they get in there.... yet they expect to be paid a fortune for their 'knowledge'. Perhaps if she'd spent more than about 3 minutes looking at my teeth, things might have been a little less 'ambiguous'. I was paying out of pocket, so I declined. Then, she wanted to do a more expensive assessment. These dentists know what they can bill to medical coverage, so sometimes they forget to stop and think - like when a person is paying out of pocket. She suggested I do crowns on a couple of back molars I told her I simply wanted extracted( and had done without argument by another dentist). Ridiculous.

Sometimes these dentists forget they are there to provide the services they are instructed to perform, and paid to provide, just like any other trade - it's not about what they want, and how much money they would like to make. So I started questioning her, and she walked away like a child, ignored me, and totally wasted my time - important to note this dentist apparently doesn't realize that a ~customer's~ time is actually more important than hers. That's the impression I got from her poor attitude and behavior. She actually ended up costing me money by wasting my time, which we would all agree is unacceptable. I really had the feeling the 'read' of me she got, was that I couldn't afford extensive dental work, so she allowed herself to be even more unprofessional and rude. She was wrong. The only positive thing is that there was nothing to pay for, since she didn't do anything.

The area in which this office is located is littered with dentists in a small area, and there are good professionals. Some very bad signs with Dr. Lekhi - I'm glad I found a good, more reasonably-priced, and properly focused dentist only a few blocks away. Shop around.

I have been with Dr. Lekhi for years. She is a wonderfully brilliant dentist. I am so thankful to have discovered her!

I had a great experience at Southwood dental. Maria, the hygienist, did the best job cleaning my teeth that I have ever gotten done. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great dentist and hygienist!

I Will not be coming back to this dentist! They over charge for everything and clearly don't listen when you talk! I told them on several occasions that my boyfriend has epilepsy and not once was it noted in his file! NOT ONCE!
They call you like crazy to continue treatment but will not take no for an answer. They eventually text you as well. They take no for an answer after about 6 calls.
When they called in May he said he went for the brain surgery to try and prevent seziours and he had to wait a few months to see the dentist... did they note that?? NOPE!
He went in yesterday for a cleaning and told the tech he recently went for brain surgery and it was still not noted in his file!
He went in today for a tooth extraction and the poor lady that was doing it was NOT told that he had epilepsy and that he had undergone brain surgery. She lost it on everyone! They couldn't do the extraction because of lack of communication!

Worst dentist ever. They have no knowledge and just try to grab as much of your money as possible.

Completely disrespectful and racist. This place not only hires dentists are both incompetent and just plain rude, but also excuses their behaviour - attributing it to just "a part of their personality." Heed my advice and never go there.

It's the best place to visit for Dental care. I called and went to other places but found the staff and dentist the best. Recommend

Southwood Dental is AMAZING! Their ability to show compassion and go above and beyond is simply delightful. I am extremely particular about who I let into my health care circle being that I am in the health field as well.
They exceeded all my standard expectations and then some!!!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A DENTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
