Went there for my Bday dinner with some friends, and we had a great time. The staff treated us like gold, one of the owners came out and treated us to a dessert on the house. I'd give this place a 6+ stars if I could! I try to go there when I have a chance food was amazing!

The boyfriend and I went here last week and the food was awesome! I had the ceviche and it was delicious. The boyfriend had the enchiladas which were equally as good. The service was prompt and very friendly. We will definitely be returning here, especially for the TACO night. Awesome restaurant!

The best Mexican food in Calgary I've ever had. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Received great service when I came with my group of friends and you have to try their enchiladas they are unreal !! Thanks!

Saw this since it opened and every time I passed by to this restaurant, I always say that I will try it one day, I love paella! Finally went for my Birthday and didn't regret every single bit. Mamasita and Papasito are awesome (we just call them that) thats how warm and inviting this place are! They treat us like a friend (atleast thats how we feel) very helpful with suggestions, FOOD are great � �, They even played and sang a Birthday song with comp crème brulle � Now that's ACE COSTUMER SERVICE! � ���� all are friendly including the chefs� � We will definitely come back and recommend this for sure!!! Thanks again Las Canarias! �

Recently celebrated my birthday, these guys rock! Were super efficient when making my reservation, got back to me quickly, they didn't limit us, no set menu, food was really good, felt like home. Highly recommended it :)

No longer a Mexican joint but still has the palm trees outside. Now delicious authentic Spanish tapas. Great pricing and large portions. Will be back for sure

We went for my husband's birthday, they were fantastic. The salsa is amazing, the rest of the food and drinks were delicious too.



They even made a few tweaks to the food to accommodate our vegan diet, and were very helpful with suggestions. I really recommend it, we will definitely be going again ASAP!

My sisters and I went here last night. I got to choose the restaurant and now I have the family reputation of sister who has the best taste in food ha!

Sangria was excellent , very good Red Wine to.

Appetizers were so good, we had a selection .

Mains were Seafood Paella and Cod with Leeks etc.

So fresh!!!

Coffee.... Expresso very good .

Service pretty good and polite .

The only downside is the DECOR inside. It is nothing like it was in the NW..... such a pity!!

Loved going into the one you had in the NW, it felt like you weren't in the city .

Too many TV's , not so inviting now in your new spot .

Will always go back if the food keeps its standards, and very reasonable priced .

Took me back to my time in Madrid, very authentic Spanish food. Service with a smile and Spanish ABBA songs.....a must try.

First time in Calgary and really enjoyed our dinner this evening! Great service, decent sized portions, fresh & delicious food, great atmosphere and fair prices! Muchas gracias! Will be back again, and highly recommend La Vida Loca.

Food was good. Service was ok. Took too long to get our food and the staff openly drank at the bar. A few changes and it would be a very good place to eat.

Very disappointed!! Went here for dinner and after realizing other patrons who arrived after us received their meals we questioned the waitress regarding our food and she told us she forgot to place our order. Over an hour wait in total we finally got our meals and had to get it to go as we had an event we were now late on attending. We spoke with the manager when he asked how things were and explained our wait but no apology was given. I have eaten here before and had a great meal, but very dissatisfied with the service and not even an acknowledgment from the manager or even a discount on the bill for their error. Things are busy and mistakes happen, but it would have been nice to actually eat the meal warm and not have to go hungry for the rest of the night. Unfortunately I won't be back, food has always been amazing, but today showed total lack of respect for their customers.

Terrible Bartender. No manners and terrible attitude. As a owner It is really important to have someone who you can really trust. As a restaurant it is important to have a great revenue so the staff and bills can get paid. This guy didn't care about it he just wanted people out no matter what. After all this people took their time coming to this place consuming time and money they deserved way better. Hope you can find a bartender who cares of your business.
