The Village of Consort, pop. 739, is located in East Central Alberta, Canada. Consort is a vibrant rural community! It boasts proudly of its status as the home town of k. d. Lang!

Veteran is a friendly Village located on Highway 12 within the Special Areas, with a steady population of 293. It is one of a series of communities along Highway 12 with names reminiscent of royalty.
