Sport Chek Westbrook Mall

Took my skates in to get sharpen on sat Oct 7, 2017 at 4pm. On the ice I injured myself pretty bad and realized only 1 skate had been sharpened. Very dangerous could have ended much worse.

Either massively understaffed for the 10 people in the store, or massively incompetent. 23 min to get shoes. 30 min wait at cash.

No staff in shoe department. When the sales man showed up it seemed like asking to try on shoes was asking way too much. Rude and inattentive service. Basically chucked a pair of shoes on the ground and never returned. Neither will I.

Decent selection with malicious and lazy staff. I'm probably never coming back.

I purchased 2 ski helmets and two days later each was $20 cheaper. So I went in with the receipt to collect on the difference. The sales clerk game me such a hard time and told me she wouldn't do it unless I went home and brought the products in for a return. And then she wouldn't be able to sell me the helmets again, but rather I would have to browse and find the same ones at the new price and make a new purchase. What terrible service. Once I get my money they've lost this customer going forward.

Just leaving now, walked out after waiting to pay for 10 mins. Lots of staff wandering and socializing but one poor girl at the cash with a huge line up, not a busy time of day. Some staff came to the cash, saw the line and left. Hey I only had two pairs of shorts and jump rope so no big loss for sportchek but I do try to support my local mall. It's not the cashier's fault, phones ringing and leaving her on her own, poor store management.
