Lots of time to brush up!

We want to thank all those that shared turkey dinner with us yesterday. Heather Buchanan really did all the hard work preparing the meal and we fed 76 people. Sharing a meal with friends, family, colleagues, and strangers alike has become a highlight for us as the course closes for the season. It was a pleasure to serve, cook, and visit with everyone. We will miss you, and can’t wait to see you next spring.

Not only did the girls have a great time they helped out a great cause.

Thanks Giving and the turkey day comes early this year so it might not be the last chance for a round of golf.

Due to snow and uncertainty for weather Saturday we are rescheduling the Men’s League Tournament to Sunday the 23rd, 11:00 Shotgun start. We will also have service and shotgun times for league play on Wednesday the 19th for those wishing to make up lost play this Wednesday and keep warmed up for Sunday.

Ok, not that much snow but Men’s Night is canceled tonight of course. Saturday Men’s Tournament is still in limbo as we wait to see if the snow goes at all.
Our options for re scheduling are Sunday the 16th or Sunday the 23rd.

To all our Ladies League players.
We are hosting a day of comfort food, appetizers, drinks, and games for all the Ladies who need the day off.
The tournament and prizes will be rescheduled to Saturday the 22nd with an 11:00 shotgun and a 4:00 dinner.
... We thank all the brave women who were going to attempt to play golf today in the monsoon. However the course will soon be unplayable. We want as many to enjoy a bit of golf with their food and drink to wind up a great year of golf.

So we are 2 holes in and someone forgot their bag and ball..... oh and their chips!

Some fool in a little red car (maybe a neon) rolls into the camp ground says “here’s a cat” and throws this little girl out the window. Who does this?
There are shelters and public facilities that will help out. Last I checked there wasn’t a fine for showing up at a shelter and saying “hello, I found this cat under my deck, can you help”. If it wasn’t for a couple Good Samaritan RV golfers returning to their site this guy would have been coyote dinner.
If anyone is looking for a new house cat, shop cat, or barn cat shoot us a message. We are hosting him for the night then will call a shelter or see if the tack shed needs a guardian.

Two puppies found just north of twp rd 742, and between range rd 53 and 54 on the edge of spruce meadows golf course. Either someone close, or they were dropped off. They are taken care of for now, if you know who they belong to please have them contact us, so we don't give away somebody's puppies!

An alternate to regular competitive golf. Great way to be just a little competitive with a friend and meet some other golfers that mostly want to enjoy themselves, and maybe win!
