Good looking team of people. The cashiers and the people in the print centre are always friendly and the staff on the floor work hard :)

One of the services we provide clients with through our website design and digital marketing agency is bsuiness branding of which a component is business card design. Recently we started using Staples for the printing of such cards as their pricing structure is very reasonable.

We have printed approximately five sets of business cards over the past month and while the finished quality is excellent, we have definitely noticed issues with quality control within their central processing department.

Without going into excessive detail, three of the card sets had to do reprints as elements that were included in the design file submitted, were missing on the final product. One card set actually had to be redone three times.

The issue is clearly not in the front end Staples store as staff there were clearly doing their jobs. The issue without a doubt is in the central processing department and specifically with respect to quality control.

Clearly these cards have to be quality checked before release to the Staples front end outlet.

Will continue to utilize Staples as the quality is their and hopefully they get quality control rectified.

The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, particularly in anything related to tech. Their advice is often very helpful! Over the years I've purchased many things here, from cell phones to computers. Their price matching policy is very fair and their return policy is very good.

Lisa Milner was the sales associate that helped me and she did a fantastic job!! What amazing customer service!! She helped me find the product I needed (Hilroy 80-page coiled notebook) and, when I told her another store had it for a lower price, she replied that they would match it. I know that it's store policy to match prices, but this encounter got even better. When I explained that I was a teacher and needed to try to get all the same color, she helped me go through the stack to find them all!

Wait...it gets even better. When we got to the till at the front she helped the cashier put them in. After scanning them in the cashier pointed out that there was a limit on the number of units for the sale price. However, without skipping a beat, Lisa said, "I told him he could have them for the sale price (0.47) so, please, put them all through at that price." Wow!! Talk about looking out for the customer!!!!! Even though she realized she had made a mistake on the quantity (there was no limit on the sign) when we got to the till, she was still willing to honour the price she had quoted me. That says something about the person and the business they work for. I'll be recommending to my colleagues and student parents that they need to shop at the Shawnessy Staples.

And to top it all off, Lisa was so professional and friendly the whole time! Thanks for such a super experience, Lisa.

This is just one of many excellent encounters I've had with the staff at the Shawnessy store. Thanks, Rob (Store Manager), for putting together such a great team!

Came to fax and found out my 49 pages would cost $49 to send... so went to look into buying a scanner instead... but if buying a scanner i wanted one that would do a good job of scanning pictures as well... but that was $250... and both were open box with no discount. I mentioned that and he said he can take $10 off... well honestly not paying $240 for a returned product.
Not to mention quality of pens sold here are hit and miss but mostly miss... had to return both packages as they were defective.
Bought a roller mat for under desk chair. It was $80!!!!!!!!!! Holy smokes!!!!!!!!

Good place to get what you need, just don't go before school shopping at Staples, way over priced

One of your employees, Derrick, was such a help to us this evening. We purchased, among other items, a chair for our home office. Derrick was very knowledgeable about the product and so very helpful. My husband just had surgery on Tuesday, and he picked up the boxed chair, took it up front, and then out to our car. Our compliments and gratitude to a very thoughtful young man.

The self serve document scanning is a scam. The computers work fine with a store card but not with a credit card. The system just charges you without providing the service.
