Startup Calgary Description
Founded in 2010, Startup Calgary is an entrepreneur-led, volunteer-driven, grassroots, non-profit organization with the mission to activate startups, connect founders and grow our local tech ecosystem.
We're not an incubator, we're not an accelerator, we're not a co-working space. . . Startup Calgary is a movement to drive entrepreneurship in our city. We do this by partnering with the best resources both in and out of Calgary to run fantastic events and programs and connect startups with the everything they need to succeed. Each year we run over 90 events and programs to support this mission, including:
Weekly – Hack Nights, Startup Spotlight (Startup of the Week)
Quarterly – Startup Weekend, NEXT Pre-accelerator, DemoCamp, Cofounder Speed Dating, Students Meet Startups
Monthly – Mobile Monday, Startup Drinks, Startup Grind
Annual – BarCamp Unconference, Launch Party
