Service was awesome! Server dealt with my concern of having pork on my ceasar, visited table often to ask if we needed anything, friendly staff all the ways around, made us feel quite comfortable

Food was delicious, we tried the dragon wraps, the chicken gyros and the meatballs and fettucine... mmm mmm mmm!

My husband and I went there last night for dinner, sans kids. We had fast and courteous service. The food was good. Husband thought the Cajun burger could have been more spicy. I had the beef dip. Price was good too. Would return, even with the kids!

Great staff, great food. I enjoy the conversations had with all the employees. Favorite brunch is banana bread French toast�

Amazing service and management! We came in for brunch on the weekend for my husbands birthday. Our server was the perfect mixture of friendly and professional. When Chris heard our friends wishing my husband a happy birthday he ran to the store and made sure we had a cake and sparkler to celebrate. What an amazing and unexpected gesture. Thank you team Windermere for making Tyler’s day so special! ��

We had some issues but they could not have done more to take care of it. It's easy for a restaurant to be great when all is going well. It's easier to look good when there are problems. But it is the measure of service when they care and fix it.

Atmosphere is good

Waitress we had was nice... seemed liked she hated her job and never filled my water though.

Food...... well the mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing. BUT I will never ever order a steak there again. I asked for medium. Which is supposed to be light pink throughout. And it was pretty much RARE and not even warm in the center. I had to send it back. I tried to eat a piece and couldn't do it. Then they brought it back out and it was barely better still bloody in parts. And my husband ordered is medium well and it was definitely medium rare. The waitress was apologetic and nice about it. Even though it wasn't her fault. But she even hinted that the cooks know nothing about cooking steaks. If we go back I'll keep.it simple and hope they can cook.other stuff better

Went here for my wife's birthday with her mom and my mom. I ordered the butter chicken without extra cilantro on top, however when the order came, it had the cilantro. Not a huge deal, mentioned it to the waitress who said she will get the kitchen to make a new one for me without. I was perfectly fine to wait while the others began their meals. Came back a few minutes later with the butter chicken again and it was barely luke warm. Waitress blamed it on the yogurt being cold. I have had butter chicken at many different places also with yogurt on top and no issues whatsoever. The couple bites i had were good flavour wise, but im not going to eat cold butter chicken and wait a third time for the same dish. I complained again and asked for the Peri-peri chicken burger instead. I was not offered any appology for the cold food. I felt more like I was being a burden for asking for a hot dinner.

By the time the chicken burger came everyone was already more than half way done their meals. I will say chicken burger was tasty (hence the 2 stars).

However ther service wasnt great, my water was the only filled once and I had to ask for it. Sat empty for most of the meal before I finally asked.

When the bill came the waitress said they were happy to comp the butter chicken (that I never could eat) as if they were doing a favour. I asked to speak to the manager to make sure they were aware of what happened and how disappointed we were in the service. However after 10 minutes of waiting the manager never showed up so we finally left.

Long story short, food had good flavours. Butter chicken was cold. However do not expect much of any service there.

Hugely disappointing birthday dinner for my wife. I would not recommend this location based on our experience.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have been there; on the first visit we waited an hour before our food came out and when it did it was cold. When we asked 30 minutes how much longer our food would take we were told the kitchen was "backed up because not all staff showed up for work". We didn't even eat half of what was brought out. That was probably 6-7 months ago and haven't been back there until today. I figured I'd give it another chance. We were seated right away, 10 minutes in I decided to ask the couple at the table besides us how long they had been waiting, they hadn't been asked for their drink order let alone food order. At that point it had been 15 minutes for them. Two other tables had been seated after we arrived. 5 minutes later the lady came to the table beside us and apologized because "the kitchen is really backed up, we're short staffed" She tried to only take their drink order but the couple was ready to order so he took their order too.All she had to do was turned around and take our order or even asked us if we had been helped but noo, she proceeded to go to the first of the second table that had been seated before us. At that point my boyfriend I left. I would have stopped to talk to a manager but I probably would have been waiting a while for that too. NEVER will I go back to this location. Both times you weren't even that busy, about 50% of the seats were filled. Your servers look like it's an inconvenience for them to be there let alone do their job and take orders. Worse service I've ever had. I gave one star because I had to, the service wasn't even worth that.

Service was awful. Almost all of the sides came out wrong, drinks took 20 minutes each time, was an hour before the server even took our food order. My mom's meal didn't come out. Definitely wouldn't go back.

Poor service, very slow. Waiter barely seen at table. Would not come back or recommend. Not enough staff but after speaking with the server, they choose to run it like this. Terrible.

Poor service, poor food quality and an overall poor experience. First we ordered a pound of wings as an appetizer - it took so long for the appetizer it showed up as we were already eating the main course. I Ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl as my main -it was practically a 16$ bowl of white rice with barely no chicken and a couple chunks of broccoli! We then tried to order more drinks with dinner and the waitress says "sorry I can't get you drinks" and simply walks away!!! Lol ! When the place is empty at supper time on fathers day I should have clued in! I came home and made BBQ chicken at home - 85$ later! Won't be back a second time - what a waste of $$$

Nobody even asked us how our meals were, didn't seem to have a waitress qualified to serve drinks, so I couldn't even bring my concerns to anybody's attention! It was unbelievably bad �

Never experienced such horrible service.... The night started slow by not getting a drink for 20 minutes, after ordering a second drink and waiting for 45 minutes we got up and ordered from the bar and got a drink. 20 minutes after that we then got our drink we had ordered 65 mins ago.... Will never come back to this restaurant and will stick with going to Dairy Queen which shares the same parking lot.

I went once and it was horrible, well done steak, asked for medium rare... and cold on top of things... complained and received a 50 dollar gift card... went again..

Next time for a grill cheese with a burger in it ?????????? wth.... and some type of soup for a friend,and a appie, I had to add 15 dollars and I don't even drink... never ever again... avoid completely...

I normally love State and Main. I visit the Red Deer location often well as the Southgate location.



This Windermere location is like the red-headed step child of the franchise. Ive been here twice in as many weeks and both times Ive received horrible service.



First time, last week, it took the waitress 16 minutes to take our order and just as much time to get the bill. I had two Old Fashions as well; the first was great, but the second tasted like an entire bottle of cinnamon bitter.



Decided to give the place a shot tonight. Holy frustrating. Our waters weren't refilled, my drinks stayed empty for more than 10 minutes, and when it came time for the bill, the waitress completely disappeared. She dropped the bills off, but proceeded to clean four tables and then went in the back for 15 minutes to roll cutlery in napkins. Whe she came to our table, she mentioned that she forgot about us and didn't even offer an apology.



Not sure how this location is still in business. I was so excited that a supposed reliable establishment was opening up five minutes from my house. Super disappointed.

Had horrible service. Waitress took a long time to even take our drink orders, had to flag her down to get a refill. Had to flag her down to order our Entree's, after our appetizers were brought she seemed to stop servicing the table. We even had to clear our own dishes and empties from the table.



My soup and steak came out at room temperature. Even my wife's sweet potatoe fires came out cold.



Manager did come out and talk to us, comped my meal and drinks. She did mention she was going to give us some gift certificates, both those never materialized. Were here there over 2.5 hours...even getting the bills to pay took forever.



This was our first visit to a State and Main and we are not impressed. I left with a an empty stomach and an empty promise. It will take a lot to have me come back.
